As the title suggests i cant get the game running . it wont even boot or do anything it just says starting GreedFall and then it just kills the process. I have no idea what to do atm.

have you tried verifying integrity, sounds to me like it might be missing a file?

Already tried that, didn't work sadly.

So i fixed it, just leaving it here for people who might encounter a startup crash without saying anything pre-boot.

If you have a Windows N edition you NEED to install the Media Feature pack. (OFFICIAL MICROSOFT LINK: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3145500/media-feature-pack-list-for-windows-n-editions) the game wont boot without it, nor will it give you any errors. hopefully if you encounter this problem this will help you.
