Me and some people at my house wanted to play multiplayer but it refuses to connect us, anyone know a fix for this?

I read somewhere on these forums SnowRunner does not support this. They offer a workaround being to connect to a VPN from other PCs, VPN should be located in same country to lower the ping.
edit: Oh, wrong sub-forum, but the workaround could work as well for MudRunner.
@Deadlock_ I have tried with a VPN and it doesn't work anymore. And I read on several forums that its also didn't work with the VPN.
