This seems like a hole in the game and a cheat that shouldn't be there. When pulling a loaded & packed trailer, if you get into trouble, like almost tipping over, you can detach & reattach the trailer which unpacks the logs and makes the trailer less top-heavy. Then you can drive to a more stable place and repack your logs there, all with nobody's help. I think detaching a loaded trailer and driving with an unpacked load should be disabled.

I just wanted to clarify that I was talking about the small trailer that holds only one end of the logs. Detaching a standalone/full trailer should be OK, as long as it stays packed. And driving without a packed load maybe should be limited to the boundaries of a log kiosk. This way trucks can be repositioned but cannot cheat by driving far with unpacked loads.
