after my game crashed I receive this error message every time I try to join a game.
The error either pops up while loading a round or ~10 sec. after I deployed.

I had the same issue relaunching after a crash, looks like EAC may not always properly initialize on crash recovery. Quitting and relaunching the game solved it for me.
