As of now there are 5 maps. Will there be new maps coming out or is this the final map pool?

I am 99% sure more is coming :).

NWI has said on several occasions that they will be supporting this game 2-3 years into the future with fixes and free updates so yeah, I could see there being a possibility for new maps down the road.

If anything, I think folks can use the track record of the original Insurgency to get an idea of the level of support Sandstorm will receive.
