How about make MK17 a 1HK weapon like G3/FAL, and increase its price? To be honest, I think MK18 should be the 3 SP weapon for advisor role and MK17 needs a damage increase to perform like a true battle rifle or at least make it 1HK on unarmored target!
Right now, MK17 is like a downgraded AKM with slower rate of fire, smaller magazine capacity, and harder to control.

Appears to be a 1-2, same as G3, not the 1tap of the FAL. Though, not had somebody to do definitive testing with yet. Your core point here is rock solid though, the damage model is bollocksed, I cannot believe they've released it with the gunplay in this state.
