No one likes to play a competitive game for 20 minutes only to end in a tie. This happens a lot and it is beyond lame. Please get rid of ties.

I also think this happen too often... Anyways, it's not such a bad thing.

· If the competitive system rates the games as separate rounds (the final result doesn't count), as in CS:GO, it's not really a problem, because even if you win an extra round, it would be a single round win difference.
· But, if the competitive system only takes into account if you win or lose, then it feels bad.

If it's a draw, doesn't the team win with the most scored points?

I like ties. I think they go well with evening wear.
