no way to configure mic output or anything? idk what the game is defaulting to but ive tried different headsets as well and nothing. competitive fps where i cant change my mic settings...

Try the microphone options in steam friends. View friends, press the cogwheel, then voice.

Can you test to make sure your mic is actually functioning properly? If the mic works, then some configuration needs to be adjusted on the game's side.

my mic works, im on discord and use it on every other game u can think of no problem. ive messed with steam friends settings and it works there fine too but why would that have anything to do with in game voice?

@captain-price I seem to be having this same problem after the most recent update. I've restarted the game, steam, and my pc. My mic is definitely working through steam as well as discord.

@ntlsec Bear in mind that the icon no longer shows when you talk in-game. Also the in-game VOIP is currently hooked through Steam Voice settings.
