Because of the way that recoil and weapon damage works in this game, foregrips are an absolute must for most weapons. In the original insurgency it wasn't so bad because it was possible to kill an enemy in one or two shots. Now that it sometimes takes up to five bullets, you have to fire fully automatic sometimes to kill your target, and without a foregrip, recoil control is next to impossible.
