Whoa this looks seriously cool man. The sheer attention to detail really shows with those hand-crafted cliffs instead of the overlay, and I love the mudslide. Definitely a new standard for map mods. Hopefully I can learn the editor and make maps even approaching this quality

Highwater is such a great map, I really love it! My favorite map, by far. I hope that new map you're working on will be as good! Can't wait to play it!

I haven't worked on the next map for a few weeks, real life got in the way. I think I should have time to get it finished now though.

Hey Torridon88, while we all wait for your new map, do you have any suggestions of maps for logging (beside highwater)?
Seeing your maps, you probably have high expectations from other mod maps, and maybe you take inspiration from some of them!? I would be curious to know which mod maps you enjoy!?

@minikeum All my inspiration so far has come from the vanilla maps. I love the way they look, they're realistic and convincing. It didn't take me long to finish them when the game came out and at the time there wasn't any custom maps available. That's how I ended up making my own, I just wanted to make something that fit the style of the game but with new challenges.
I've spent so long either working in the editor or testing my own maps in game so I haven't had chance to try any user made maps yet. If you do find any that you think I'd like, or if anyone else has any suggestions, I'd love to know so I can check out what other people have created.
The problem with making your own maps is you know where everything is so it's never the same as enjoying something completely new!

I do like playing it, it is a beautiful map, even if it's not super challenging (even with the default trucks) and it lacks a bit of a scenario.

Thanks man I’ll check it out. I do like a challenge but sometimes it’s just nice to drive around and explore something new.
@torridon88 agreed, i know some people are like "why would someone just wander aimlessly around a map?" for the reason of just pure exploring and to take a relaxing drive to enjoy the scenery. i know it does not make sense to some, but that is their problem not mine. lol
