Idea for a new weapon attachment

TL;DR Add Bump stocks and hell fire triggers to enable full auto on semi auto weapons

No i'm not talking about AP ammo. Now that's out of the way im talking about possibly adding a 'bump stock'. Bump stocks are not related to the stock market but are instead a stock attachment to a semi-automatic firearm that uses recoil to make a gun fire full automatic. Essentially, bump stocks allow rapid fire by "throwing" the trigger against one's finger (as opposed to one's finger pulling on the trigger) thus allowing the firearm's recoil to actuate the trigger. Here is a gif for reference on the bump-ness. Bumpy bumpy [https://imgur.com/a/bu3g5Oz]
this being an attachment would allow semi auto rifles, (such as the M16A4) to fire automaticaly.
But wait! thers more! If you buy the bump stock today we will throw in one hellfire trigger for free!
The hell fire trigger essentially does the same as the bump stock, but not as well. oh and it can also be installed into pistols.

Here are some wikipedia articles on the attachments.

Edit: Was going to make a seperate post on this but i dont really want to spam the fourm just because it doesnt fit this post. This caught my eye and might be cool

Bump fire stocks are dangerous, as they can cause a user to unintentionally fire more rounds than they wanted. I'm not aware of them being used by any military or security force anywhere. And since we have access to full auto weapons, it makes bump-firing even more silly.

Sounds more like a mod someone would put onto something like a lever action so they can play cowboy at the shooting range, it's not a military item so it shouldn't be incorporated into the game imho.

Most if not all of the single fire only weapons in-game are high powered and kill in a single well placed shot, with this you'd just lower your accuracy considerably and have to fight muzzle climb.

Depleted, how exactly would a bump stock on a lever action work? Are you going to be able to use the lever in between bumps?

If it would cost supply points to get a bump stock, why not just use those points to buy an automatic gun? Instead of a bump stock SKS buy an AKM, instead of a bump stock SVD buy an FAL, instead of a bump stock M16 buy an M4. I honestly can't think of a use case for this.

@mlb7 It wouldn't. For a bump stock to work, the weapon must be semi-automatic.
