How does health work?

For example, if you get shot by an enemy and survive, does your health regenerate or are you constantly in a "low health" state from there until you die?

only way u can gain health is by resupply fully.
else u health keeps getting low.

You have hit points and take damage as you get shot. These hit points to not regenerate over time so every time you are damaged you get easier to kill. Doing a full resupply (holding F) will heal you back to full health.

really? I thought you regenerated... thats not how it worked with the old game was it?

@zucchini Yes really. There is no automatic health regeneration, you must resupply fully to have your health restored to 100%

@zucchini Nope. In Ins2014, I know some people got confused with how the suppression system worked and thought that they were restoring HP when the effect faded off even though they weren't hit at all.

@marksmanmax lol I was always told you got regen health.

You had regen health until the nov 8th patch. You'd get hit, your screen would sharpen, as if your adrenaline was pumping or something, and then once the screen effects went away, you were back to solid health. Now, there's a red hue around the edges of your screen if you take a hit but dont die. This lowered health, as mentioned above, does not regenerate until you do a full resupply. I personally like regenerative health, but the damage model being what it is, if i'm gonna take a hit, i'm normally gonna die. I rarely see the red hue.

That's the suppression effect. You don't regenerate health in any NWI game. You can heal to full in both Day of Infamy and Sandstorm with a full resupply, though.

It is, you didn't regenerate in Ins2 either. There were some custom servers that would show you your current health as a percentage on the HUD.

Some really fancy custom servers even had some kind of medic ability with certain classes. It's probably like SERNIX or something.

What a pity that health cannot be restored as quickly in real life as in games. Now is a difficult time for us, and my mental health now requires support more than ever. It's good that the therapy sites reviews helped me with this issue. After reading a lot of information, I was able to understand what exactly I should rely on in search of a specialist. And now I know where to start therapy.
