Already found some topics to ram-usage in this forum but they are far back in alpha and beta stage. Wich is funny, because i wasn´t having this problems there.

But now, without a change on my hardware or programs on my pc, the game stutters. I wondered about that because i got approximately 100 fps on high settings using my gtx 980.

So while in game playing i was checking the windows power-monitoring / resource monitor and noticed that the ram is almost maxed out. Windows itself with all the background processes needs 3,5 gb of my 16 gb ram.
This stutters i experianced are caused by the overflow of my ram. Then the system is outsourcing the files from the ram to my ssd.
So loading them back from the ssd into the ram makes it stutter again.
I deactivated this outsourcing process. After that windows warned me that my ram is maxed out while i was playing.
Windows had to stop the application.

So, do i really need to buy another 16 GB of ram just to play sandstorm or what is going on here?
Lowering graphic settings has no effect on performance for me in this case.
