Been playing the game now for a few days and maining as the commander.
One of the more frustrating things is that we rely on LOS when in actual fact it should be done through a map and grid reference based on a fire team pinging targets and relaying them back to the commander.
If you gave the observer the binos and allowed people to tag enemies so the commander can see them on the map, work out where the enemy are forming up so that the commander can deploy fire support this would make the commander a much more useful role in map control.
Equally the penetration of some of the fire support seems weak. Direct hits to buildings with a10, mortars and bombs seem to deflect and you can clear out a building prior to an assault which seems to negate the use of the commander.
Any thoughts on this?
