Quality of life.

The game is great and it is a gorgeous sight to behold. However, there are some things that make playing it tedious and frustrating to the point of making me drop it at times. From worst to tolerable:

  • It should NOT be possible to que for a multiplayer match unless you've selected both upgrades and skills! It blows my mind that the game allows it.
  • After a match it deselects all of your upgrades and such.
  • Game would benefit from saved "lists" of preselected subfaction + avatar + skills + upgrades + fleet.
  • Sub-faction swapping should NOT deselect all of your upgrades, unless it was faction specific one
  • Friend should not get kicked out of lobby after every match.
  • We should be able to save a fleet composition between matches: prebound control groups, formation of fleet (I want to have a flagship at the middle with my escorts at the front at the start of the game, etc).
  • If it is impossible to do the above due to whatever limitations, at least make it possible to preselect stances, engaging distance and ships behavior at fleet composition stage! It is infuriating to waste time every match reselecting 4.5k on every ravager, setting your lance ships to maximum range with lock-on stance, etc.
  • Clearer indication of what ship's weapons are currently offline.
  • Clearer indication of blips for escorts, big ships and fighters/bombers. Make them a different color in addition to size.
  • Ability to select multiple blips/enemy ships to set priority for and select targetted ship part. I want to target engines on all eldar ships. I want to target decks on all ork ships, etc. Nobody has time to manually select every enemy ship when you are about to get torpedoed/boarded to death.

For your first point they have fixed in Beta#2 even if you dont'/forget to select your upgrades and skills you can now choose them on deployment phase. Whats even better imo

Double tap Alt and you will see all your ship's weapons that are currently offline

OMG YES for these 2, at least!

I have some boost related ones:
-why do eldar ships that are in full stop when boosting do not switch to "cruise speed" after they have finished? it's such an annoyance, I've learned to pay attention to this most the of times but it still should be: full stop->boost->cruise speed, especially annoying for big ships like void stalker
-"boost to location" for boost gauge factions: nothing is as annoying as having one your ships ordered to boost away from combat while managing some important close combat stuff and after you've delivered your torpedo salvo or whatever you notice that the ship you've ordered to move away has actually reached it's waypoint and moved way past it wasting all of it's boost. Some could argue that this would ruin the skill part of managing your fleet's boost meters but my point is to have an another, perhaps yellow colored waypoint that means the ship will use booster until it reaches the waypoint. You still have be careful about not going overboard with it, but the ship will follow your plan instead of boosting away into space if you just let your eyes off it for a few seconds
