Fantastic. The length sounds great, glad there won't be fetch quest bloat. Can't wait to sink my teeth into this.

we are stretched out by this world ... do you think of expanding it? DLC? new content? Can the experiment be prolonged? coop, maybe in the future?

I am getting into less linear games/game play. How much is exploration vs. story?
My play style: Can I speak to the fairy in the woods, or do I need to speak to Joe in town first.

I like to totally explore the entire map/ world, in a way that I am off the grid and still enjoying myself without the need for questing or linear story-pathing.

Just hope it's worth the investment.

No physical release for PC. Is there any chance to change this?

I preordered under the mistaken idea that this was an open world game. Unfortunate.

A: GreedFall is not an open world game.

Not an open world game?
so you won't be able to choose your own path or wander free through the game

I think they compared open world with titles like TES Skyrim, Fallout 4, Ghost Recon Wildlands...
I think the game would be still open world but more like The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt or Dragons Dogma, also limited and of course you will have the choice to choose your own path.

The game is still open. Just not in like the Skyrim or GTA sense with an actual open world map. It will have zones which you can wander around and explore but to go between zones will require a loading screen and there will be some areas that once you leave you can't return to such as the starting location before the island. Think similar to games like Dragon Age Inquisition with multiple maps rather than Elder Scrolls with it's big world map.

@CeliriaRose said it all 🙂

Concerning PC release, they are only digital for the moment. We will keep you updated if it ever changes!

@Raibi Regarding PC Releases: is there somehow a way to suggest a release on gog.com? I would love to pitch the Idea of a gog release since it broadens the playerbase, hence consumerbase. Not only do lots of people like the idea of DRM free games (thankfully it's already without denuvo) but this game also feels like it fits very well with the games already featured on gog.

Have been following Greedfall in the hope it would launch on GOG, now we're near release I see that won't happen.
I tend to purchase games which appeal to me at launch rather than later when discounted or free on Humble/Epic, an example of this would be Elex or Witcher 3. Those games which I'd normally purchase on day 1 but release late on GOG (e.g. Mutant: Road to Eden, later free on Epic) I rarely touch without with it been heavily discounted - though I got Mutant:RtE through Humble Monthly and played it on Steam. GOG has been my primary gaming platform for a few years now, I find their ethics run closer to my own so I never purchase a game at launch prices unless I find it on GOG.
Figured I'd give that small insight into the purchasing mind of a GOG user 🙂
Good luck with the game launch, the story looks facinating and the backdrops look stunning.

Will you add HDR on PC? It would be great.

I heard there is no plan for DLC or mod support, are there plans for future bug fixes? Is the weapons not showing when sheathed bug going to be addressed soon?
