I'll be disappointed if it doesn't get worse throughout the story. We don't even really know what the disease does to you or what the symptoms are. All I've gathered is it has a very high mortality rate.

I kind of like to see the mark expand and some simptoms of the malicor disease. In the videos spiders released the only person with an advanced progression is the protagonist mother and she look like she has pest. All oters have the tatoo or are dead.
