Why do companies release games where the player is hard to control (jerky on stopping, with precise movement being difficult and frustrating) .

This has to be something that comes up in testing right? It's not just Greedfall either, it seems to be something that pops up frequently. I'm sure its difficult to program and really perfect player input, but many, dare I say most are able to get acceptable controls to where it's not a hindrance. General walking about and fighting are both hampered in this regard.

The rest of Greedfall is marvelous almost across the board, save for a few bugs (that I haven't seen much of). It's certainly Spiders best to date, which is great to see.
