i drove in to the water from the east dirt road before the dam, use a small crane to lift a oil barrel from the quest threatening Accident onto my truck and packed it. now i cant leave the area aprox 20*20m without the game freezing/not responding.
i do not get a rash report window as the game does not directly crashes, just hard freezes.

if i try to change truck, recover or jump to the garage without a truck it crashes.
have tried unpacking the oil barrel from the truck still crash
have tried unpacking and removing the oil barrel still crash
have tried changing all my graphics settings still crash

but if i jump to another country and jump back to the Smithville garage, i can use all other vehicles normally. but if i drive to the area with a new vehicles or jumps to the stuck truck the cycle starts again.
