Will the sound effects be reworked for some races?

As title says will sound effects get reworked for some races. Always thought that they were kind lacking. Eldar pulsars did not have SFX.

Chaos weaponry sounded pathetic......

Lances do not do pew pew.

Imperial and ork guns sounded authentic and maybe they could improve on that.

Eldar Pulsars had SFX. It wasn't exactly great but they have them.

To be fair, Lances are one that's hard to get right at the scale of the game, the sound they're actually supposed to make is (based on surface ot orbit or orbit to surface examples) basically like the world splitting (because it sort fo does when it gets hit by them)

Chaos Weaponry sounded ok, but weak. They focussed too much on the pseudo-daemonic nature in my opinion.

But what I think it could really use on the sound scale?

A general increase of the weapons volume. Even though Ork and Imperial Guns sounded right, all guns sounded too quiet

I mean, technically combat in space would sound like nothing, so playing with mute is the most authentic experience. 😃

The main thing I don't like is how samey they seem to sound (Ork and Imperial).
I don't feel there is enough different in sound to distinguish them, I know that Orks loot things but they don't just steal from the Imperium and they like to make 'Improvments', so there should be much more diverse sounding weaponry their.

Imperial weapons, while serviceable, just sound underwhelming. And if I wanted to really nit-pick, the Imperial Escorts should have laser or Plasma weapons and not projectile weapons. So their FX are totally wrong.
Most other factions could also use an SFX makeover for their weapons in the new game. Generally louder and brassier across the board.

Doesn't work. Because that increases the volume of engines and all other SFX. Only the weapons need to be louder.

While this is true that space does not convey noise sounds etc.

This does not have to be the case in games and movies and rarely is. You know why? Because it would be very boring to watch. Most parts of Star wars, star trek literally any sci fi with alot of space footage would be unwatchable. Would you watch every scene in space without volume? Probably not.

Why should i the player change things because certain parts of the game arent very good. Truth is you can hardly hear anything that chaos and eldar has even if you turn the SFX up (believe me i tried 😉 Thats why im talking about it.). And i didnt even know till now that eldar pulsars had SFX (yeah i never heard them) which is frankly sad because i played the game for 6 months and that indicates that the team needs to adjust some dials. SFX is a very important part of 40k. It adds to the atmosphere.

I'd say Firefly pulled it off. But since space combat wasn't a main attraction in Firefly I'd disqualify it :p
