Me and my friend tried manually loading long logs on each others trucks and I can't say there is a significant improvement.
It still feels laggy, sometimes on my screen it appears like the log came loose from the grapple but it's still hanging in the air, sometimes they feel like they weight twice as much. Here is a clip of my friend spawning 3 logs and grabbing 2 of them:

1. When he spawned the logs, instead of laying on the stand they appear to be impaled into the ground on my end.
2. After he lifts 2 of them notice how long it takes for them to synchronize and move to their actual position
3. The grapple appears to be holding nothing while the logs hover underneath it
