Oil rig platforms in Island Lake (Michigan) are gone

The three main abandoned oil rig platforms from which the player has to collect cargo containers are not longer present on the map.
This is likely because of the fact, that they have modelBuildingSetting added, which makes them change their state immediately to "destroyed". There are high chances that this issue was present since Season 2.
The zones in question are US_01_03_ABANDONED_DS_01, US_01_03_ABANDONED_DS_02 and US_01_03_ABANDONED_DS_03.

@nextej

PTS is just that. It's not an update on the game, PTS maps are abandoned with the progress of the game from launch, they do not accumulate and cannot be 'played' through ~ all these maps are abandoned and 'final fix' only appears in the live release of the game.

Current PTS Map in Ver 17.1 [ONLY}/ !!

@nextej

Evidently you don't know. It's too long now to explain.

BUT reports on the current PTS version is the only reports required. The PTS is up for a few months and taken down between test versions.

The active test Ver is 17.1 AND IMHO, it's already abandoned with the imminent release of the live game next week.

@gbeeten I'm not entirely sure what do you meant by "reports on the current PTS version is the only reports required", but Live release of 17.0 is pretty much at least a month away (likely to be around Next-Gen update release).

Edit: anyway, that doesn't matter, what matters is this thread to be clear out of any offtopics not relevant to the issue.

They are simply not working on older maps. Island Lake [Michigan] is part of the first release as example. It had a lot of issues all or many reported at the time, and when the game came 'live' a certain amount were fixed, from memory, it was impossible to complete all of Michigan on PTS, it was on the live game and the PTS was never updated.

Alaska, Taymyr & Kola Peninsula were live before all maps were released

The PTS was not available for ALL maps with the live game coming before the PTS was updated.

Ver 17.1 is the latest addition, Burning Hill, Tennessee.

Also some maps were released live, before the PTS was completed, ie a Map Ver 4.5 on the test server but was released as VER 4 live with ALL the fault being reported by the PTS members coming live and causing havoc costing billions in in game money loss as map changed made assets and trucks disappear ~ a ferociously reported problem totally ignored and an earlier game version released to the public.

And Focus said 5th of May in one of their blog posts ~ I'm not going to look to check. I might be wrong.

@nextej this problem with vanished oilrig is also present in the latest vanilla version. They are gone

@eversman the problem been present likely since the release of Season 2, back in 2020.

@eversman YUP! Just took a drive over to the Island Lake and sure enough, no oil rigs, but it still will give you cargo.

LIVE games, not PTS.

Still present on PTS 19.0

@Nextej they will never fix it i guess like many other issues.

For the god of love, the Burned Forest of Ontario also uses one of those, and it's also not appearing properly, it should be there, proudly standing as you're collecting containers from it!d1b36ffc-4861-4167-b55b-3f0ec8fca40e-image.png 83521f83-e195-4d50-8b4b-b536d66ca6ce-image.png
