@Unster The AW trucks do not have any friction settings in the xml files. I noticed that when it first came out. I added the friction lines and values in the files and it worked out great but... then came along a new update and set everything back to it previous version. I used to delete and tweak alot of files but gave up because as soon as I get the game where I'm happy with it they go and do an update.
I've been playing the new beta and not gonna lie I like the new graphics and it seems to run good. Its clearer, sharper I started up MR and started the "same map" and after a few seconds switched back to ST. The only thing that really needs work now is the camera controls. and maps on workshop. I had to manually install a map off the net, I almost forgot how to do it lol. And If its crashing and you have spintires plus installed you'll have to remove it. I've just been renaming the map I want to play to proving ground that way I can have the dev tools.
Later this year that's gonna be a long time lol. I'm pretty bored with MR as it is and I only have 451hrs on it. I guess it'll be worth the wait tho. from the pics it looks alot better than MR. The pic of the map Is awesome looking being in color like that you'll be able to look at a spot and point and say rite there that's something I want to climb or check out.
Any idea when we can find out more info for MR2? and I agree with kingnightshadow about not making it a job sim. that is what ATS and ETS is for. From the few pics I seen in the other post here on the forum I would like to think we are in the clear.
Got a question, How much is too much for a map? I'm currently working on a 1024x1024 and am about 90% percent done then all of a sudden I start having problems with rebuilding the terrain and freezing up. It was going just fine I was rebuilding and saving constantly then the forementioned problem occurred.
How do I move my map from the prebuild folder to the mods folder in the editor? When I first started the map I was having problems and ended up building in the prebuilt section, now that I know that its supposed to be in the mods section I tried moving some files over but came up with some problems for a few hours lol. Just finally got it to where I can edit it again in the prebuild folder. (problems)- couldn't load water or mud files or sometimes the height file was a problem and couldn't edit it but it would show up. Anyways I can play my map if I install it manually in game just fine but would like to get it on the steam, and hoping I'll be able to add Nix/Spun rocks to the map I have them installed but when I use them I cannot play the map in game so they are left out for now. Also I haven't figured out how to blend the end of the roads together but I'm not worried about that yet, its a work in progress. Thanks in advance. ![0_1548282825281_20190123060144_1.jpg]![0_1548282846968_20181207011612_1.jpg]! The last 5 or so picture with the trucks hooked up to the trees is to show how deep the mud is
