Chaos lance +1 damage (from base 4) means 25% increase damage output, IN +3 'from base 12) means 25% damage increase output.
My concern is IN macros have been buffed but not Chaos so IN is even more buffed while being already performing well.
ALso Eldar vs Necron was already a fucked match up because 9k range weapons vs 9k range TP, now with the vaul manoeuvre skill it is even less playable
Part of the problem is also in the capacity of ships with AHF and eldars to kite easily. A global speed boost of squadrons will also greatly increase scouting potential of carriers perhaps too much. Another solution saw in a previous thread was to give bombers/assaults a huge (like 1000) speed when at 4.5k range of target to avoir this kiting
This ship is brand new and don t even exist in lore so your argument for missing anything is a bit lackluster.
Dominator have Novas in lore so if they miss it is a mistake.
Scourge dont have any real base to compare to so you cannot use any lore to explain what they should or shouldn t have.
Just imagine that they don t have the tools to launch bombers or assaults and it explains why it has only fighters. Or just wait until it is fixed or not and stop make constant posts about Necrons ignoring their current state and not saying anything about other factions.
BTW Orks don t have bombers too and I am sure somewhere in the lore we can find some "real" Orks bombers instead of the chassa bomba DOT.
Tau Mantas are also able to bring combat suit teams in battle so Tau should have assaults boats too
Necrons have some useless ships but so do all other factions.
Necrons have good match ups except vs mass boarding (nids/SM, Orks unles you can moral bomb them with cairns) and vs mass ramming (can include torpedoes because Necron player have to be reactive).
All eldars/Chaos/Tau (unless playing mass kroot build) are free kill for a necron so Necron don t need anymore buffs or better ships, in fact they should have some nerfs to allow some factions to even be able to fight them (9k TP vs Eldar 9k range such a nice idea).
Oh and Necron have easy AOE spam they don t even need to bother with bombers or assault boats
Exorcist is OK because it is the only 4 bays IN with decent manoeuvrability (Emperor have better macros but is so damn fucking slow)
Problem with Vengeance is that Overlord do almost the same (On 1 side it is 2 macros + 2 turret lances vs 2 macros + 2 lance batteries) at lower price and with torpedoes.
Problem with Avenger is low range, he gets eaten at close range vs Orks/tyranids/SM and is useless vs eldars
Mainly IN GC are lacking the torpedoes and with current meta, IN main strength is the torps
For Chaos, Executor is full lance so better take Acheron, Retaliator is a good mix of carrier + guns but Styx costs less for same bays so fit better in full carrier fleet.
Repulsive fits well in Chaos macro because Hades is trash
It should be better if leveling was giving you 1 point, you can use to unlock the upgrade/skill that you want instead of having auto unlock of many upgrades, some of them are totally useless.
But anyway, in BFG1, the levelling system was done to increase the size and tonnage of ships so you had time to learn before reaching big battles. In BFG2, the levelling system is much more a way to force grind...
Having small bay count should have a discount on the price because 1 bay ships (like SM vanguard or corsair solaris) are totally overprized when basicly they are just using scout fighters.
If we keep 4 bays as standard cost, having 2 bays is today 0.5 the price and 1 bay 0.25. 2 bays should be like 0.45 x price and 1 bay 0.15.
