Firefight. 2 rounds won. on the 3rd round, the timer ticks down, then after a while we draw the round. and draw the match.
We draw 3 games in a row. Serious.
Draws should not be a thing. Let the OT go unlimited.
Draws for the entire game should not be a thing. More round until a winner is decided.
This is the reality of crunch time. I'm sure the devs wanted more iterative updates and more player feedback. but at 8 working days till release and its already been pushed back, there's no more updates till the the big 1.0
I want SSAA + magnified optics to work properly.
If a player has bought shades for his character, then shouldn't their monitor be effected by a shade of something as if they were wearing sunglasses?
Mk14 is a better choice and seems to kill 1 hit 9/10 times.
I too enjoy playing with a handicap, but that's what it is. Every bolt action to the chest has been out for the count for me.
Anything in the upper chest is a kill. A shot in the knee aint gonna kill ya.
That stripper clip is almost necessary. damn that thing does take a while to reload.
Just imagine he's a pianist.
Strange how we notice the little things. Its only slightly odd if you stare for a long time. Its fine.
This is crunch time.
1.0 is around the corner.

Consider taking less equipment, either heavy pack or heavy armor feels slower but the movement speed and acceleration and such feels great IMO. Also consider changing your fov. Change it to 105 to feel the wind in your hair, 85 to feel like everything is the right size. If its on 70, its slow.
Was that a thing in original insurgency?
It always looks badass. lasers pew pew!
A small buffer would be nice. But sometimes you just gotta sit out 25 seconds.
@cyoce said in An idea for LMGs:
Adding RNG to someone's aim because you missed is an anti-skill mechanic for both players. If suppression just blurred the edges of your vision, increased contrast, and messed with your audio like Insurgency, I'd be fine with increased suppression on LMGs.
I personally haven't noticed suppression seriously messing with my aim. I like your point. I don't like it, like I don't like aim punch. throwing your aim off uncontrollably is frustrating and never fun.
Slight buff to LMG's when standing/crouching. especially the RPK.
Slight nerf to LMG's when bipoded. its a laser beam.
20% buff to all suppression. I love the visual effects. turn it up a bit I reckon.
LMG's dont need an extra suppression buff. they have 200 bullets to spare, that is suppression enough.
Brumby's two cents.
Sure feels sluggish when I pick up an RPG.
The weight of a few loaded box mags is negligible IMO, and so would the speed increase.
Can I just add that I quite like how it is without the ammo selection. I get that it works with the points system and the armour system. But in original insurgency it was AP ammo or nothing. It was dull; why have a selection when im always going to select AP and im always going to have to allocate those points.
maybe it could work, especially with the current amount of given points, i'd have to sacrifice a nade, or compensator to get AP, and I don't know if its worth it.
no. not at all. no freaking way. I love the time to kill. Its so satisfying. I haven't experimented with the guns much, and haven't used any submachineguns. I stick to the AK/M4 and find the ak is always a 2 hit kill and the m4 is often a 2 hit kill and never more than 3. One hit headshots are good.
I've just been playing some late night 5 v 5 PvP on a bunch of maps and it was really good fun.
Whitby I think friendly fire does slightly less damage. Slightly. Which is a good thing.
Don't make this call of duty by making me pump 6 rounds into a guy before they go down. This is insurgency, and some of you fellas can't aim if you reckon you need 6 bullets to kill a guy.
Please give me a way to turn off the menu UI audio tones. Its really high pitched and annoying. I prefer no UI bleeps and bloops.
its like a cricket in my ear.
Its not really a problem. I get a well placed nade on me only when I've been camping pretty hard and the enemy know where I am. Its pretty good as is IMO.
Same issue for me. low scope detail + 1.25x supersampling are the settings I am using. This is ideal for me. the fps drop in high detail is significant and FXAA looks terrible in all games. im glad 1.25 SSAA is available. I get really solid fps now while using high powered scopes which is awesome thanks guys. I'm perfectly happy playing with ironsights and red dots for now though. I'll try out TXAA now that its been implemented.
Hiya. Loving the game. since the latest update, low scope detail is misaligned for me. every gun. every magnified scope. I love that my fps stays high now while scoped in though.
high scope is fine, but my fps drops from 90 - 60.
