They do that all the time. Probably because these aren’t small maps anymore. Every map apart from ministry is sinjar but 10x worse. Still, I don’t know any good spots on any other map that was blocked off. Ministry was probably done for some reason but the spots in the other maps are still the same. You can still snipe from afar on outskirts. The rock spot at the top of the hill for insurgent push on crossing is still there and that bullshit camping spot on summit still exists(the one on B for insurgent push where you can see through the green wagon but it’s very hard for them to see you.
So around 5 months ago, people found some new guns and attachments in the game. There was an attachable 7x scope for some guns, an underbarrel shotgun for the m16, and a m26 mass that was fully functional with animations and sounds. So what happened to those
literally every gun in the 2014 game also felt the same. when you use mods it feels different. i don't think nwi is just going to add in a bipod knife. yea this game is stale for now but this is still nwi developing it. they probably can turn it around over time( at least they aren't some who have to deal with ww3). you also have to realize that making maps on ue4 is hard for them now. they have never used it and have always just used the hammer editor. adding mod support is even harder. you can't just open it up(thats simple) because some idiot would just change the files to have a virus and when people download the mod, it just adds a virus to their pc. i know none of this matters since your just going to throw shit at me and the amount of times you directly use nigger towards me may not even be countable
sure they can release it on consoles
for the price of $30 and running at 2fps and having textures that look like watercolor
also it doesn't matter if consoles have more players than pc who want this game (even though they don't since most are just playing fortnite), this game is still more suited to pc so priority.
the other problem is audio since nwi has never made a console game before, making the audio to be just as good as the pc version is going to be hard
quick context: the game was 7v8 precinct push game for most of the round and it was pretty fair. until we got to the C point in which alot of people joined. 2 people left on my team and 3 left on the other. And for some reason, all of the players that just joined went on my team. so it was 14 v 5 for most of the game. When it was my team's turn to attack, the other team only started to get players after we captured C. so the teams finally balanced out on the last point of the entire match. NWI wtf
Some companies can make br and they can do it good. The biggest and most successful br games(not counting PUBG) were AAA and the devs behind them and they were confident in making a br game. Insurgency is made by an indie studio and they have a good reputation since late 2013 of making a game and continue support on that game’s main concept for at least 2 years. Insurgency is insurgency and its best for it not to touch new areas like br. If it does, it will turn into what counter strike is today, focused more on everything else except for the game’s main concept
The game has way too many bugs, grefing is still an issue, optimization is still a problem, some features are missing, and content is way too low
Best solution to the problems with the game right now(and this might be a terrible decision), is give the game fully modding(don’t know if this is the correct term) support with the unreal engine(like how Skyrim, the engine is fully open to the communit). This way, people in the commmunity can make new content by themselves and others can look at the problems with the game and give nwi ways to fix it. Idk if this is even possible but if it is, this is probably (IN MY OPINION) the best way to make progress on fixing this game fast while also keeping it fresh
Also the restricted zone markings aren’t even correct. On insurgent push for refinery, when the insurgents get to attack the C point, the defending security’s maps are wrong. They show that you can go past that green hut across from c and all the way to the catwalks behind it but the restriction zone starts 20m right in front of c
