The rocket launchers we have in game seems to be using HE ammo. It’s useful most of the time, but there are some situations that requires different ammunition.
The M3 Carl Gustaf has HEDP, which is a round that can pierce through walls and then detonate. Useful for enemies behind walls.
As shown here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=BOrZqZa14P8
If HEDP seems too over powered then maybe HEAT would be better suited. It can pierce through walls without the detonation part.
Rocket types aren’t just limited to the Gustaf either, there are many types for the AT4 and RPG.
The reason I play COOP is because it helps me get use to the game, not just because of satisfaction. When I first got the original Insurgency I didn’t feel satisfaction when I kept getting killed in PVP. After playing COOP I was performing much better than when I first bought the game. Fixing COOP is not just for COOP players, but are also for inexperienced players. I still play COOP in DOI, INS, and INS:S and it’s a great tool to learn the game.
What do you mean by long range spread? Like, spread when aiming down sights?
M16A2 has no rail mount, those sight options were specifically designed to fit on the M16A2.
I thought there was always a delay on the machineguns, no?
Grenade launchers should at least be compatible with disposable rockets.
I agree that flip-up/iron sights should be free.
I can see that most of these balances are for pvp, but from a coop view, I would have to disagree with most.
Outpost was pretty fun in Insurgency, mostly because the bots weren’t the brightest and would banzai charge the cache. With the current AI, I don’t think it’ll be as fun. If adding Ambush makes people happy, then I’d sacrifice Outpost. If the AI were to be fixed, then why not both.
