OK I'll break it down see if this helps.

In the Media Folder:

Classes>Models <object name.xml>

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<Body Collisions="Dynamic" Friction="0.8"/>

Meshes>Models <object name>.X and <object name.xml>

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<CombineXMesh Type="Model">



Does that make sense?

Take the .x object (the physical model you made in .x format) and place THAT in meshes>models inside the Media folder. Does your model have a collision? "cdt" ? Copy the object you made in the Editor and name it cdt then save, and highlight the two selections, and select "export both" or the equivalent of what program you use.

Did you reset the Xform of the object? Does the model show in the model list, but appear blank?

At the top of the editor along the bar click the red "resources" button and try again.

Custom Models can be made using a 3D Modelling program such as Blender and 3DS Max.

Don't know if many of you lot saw, but they recently updated the Editor and it now has Redo and Undo functions as well as something called "Route" But it's showing blank for me.

I've yet to do it to my truck, but I believe on the right hand side you can choose the unit of measurement.

For the painting part, I have found using the Viewport Canvas in 3DS Max a breeze to use. So that could potentially be used as a "selection" of paint jobs.
