I am a huge fan of this game and was able to complete it three times now without experiencing a major bug.

Now I am on my fourth and last walk through the game, and suddenly I have a huge bug/problem...

It is chapter 9 when I, as Sarah Hawkings try to get rid of the Shambler. When I enter the third glyph, I am rooted I can not run away from the shambler, I can turn on the light, turn around, but cannot move (in no direction, I have tried this). What is the problem here?

Hi,

Has someone the text of the song the sailors in the stranded whale are singing?

have you tried to log out, close the game, start it again.

In a scene i was also not able to interact with the things there and logging out and restarting the game, helped me.

I am playing on the PC, so I am not sure, if it is the same, just in case you use another platform.

Normally you do not have to interact, just come near the object. Therefore after coming near the bust you unlocked the find the still life. You should have a little drawing of it in your hand.

now comes a SPOILER:

The still life is in the section, where Sarah is sitting next to the fire. It is up the chairs, where there is also the drawing of the ship and the tentacles (?). Just go near there and you should find the amulett.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

I really enjoyed playing Call of Cthulhu. The story is very good, starting from a detective story to a very Lovecraftian experience of loosing your senses whilst delving deeper into the mystery.
Needless to say that I really liked to play the P&P RPG with the same title 😉

Now, I am replaying the game for the alternate ends and I am really happy that I find now some other solutions to scenes and by this have also have an alternative playing experience (even chapter 2 was now already different).

It is really a great game, which one can enjoy for many days, but of course at some point, I will be done with it and I am wondering if you are planning other games for call of chtulhu, with another player character of course, other places and other stories? I would really like to see that happen.

Actually I am just on my second playthrough and used an experimental skill setting, so I am now at the same point as you, having to accept Cat®s help. I did and I really enjoy this second walk through so far 🙂
