I think they are giving those scores because they thought it was going to replicate Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines. However, in my opinion the game is amazing! If we think of this game as like an introduction type of game into the world of Vampyr than we can see what they were going for which is a universe revolving around these characters. The music was outstanding, the sound effects were perfect, the game design was amazing! I see no problem with the game however, a bunch of people hated the combat, why? I think it has to do with the fact that there is no blocking and no hit assist like in the Batman Arkham games. However, the combat was lacking a bit but it was still fun! Dr.Reid is not trained to fight throughout the entire game he is always defending himself! Just my thoughts on why some people gave the game low scores.
I really enjoyed The Council: Episode 4 the way that the developers handled the cast of characters by answering questions we had about them but still kept certain things hidden was pretty cool. The story was good and it had a lot of twists and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat. I can't wait to play Episode 5!
I agree it would be cool to see Cthulhu in-game but if Edward sees him he will lose his sanity. I think the best way to see him would be in dreams or if the cultists awaken him and Edward has to quickly make him fall asleep without looking at him or something like that.
Well I kinda want the same thing however, the only problem is that Emily and Emma have a husband. I think that perhaps Emily or Emma can fake her death and leave the island with Louis if the player chooses to romance Emily in Episode 1. Also there are many mysteries around Emily and Emma that have yet to be explained.
