@mart1n1 TBH, from that distance it's perfectly realistic to kill somebody with a shotgun. It's not sniping. It's mid-range slug round hit. Of course it'll kill you. People should really stop having that mentality of "shotguns are only effective up to 5 meters, any farther than that is soooooooooooooooo OP".
Shotguns aren't OP. They're useful. They have realistic range, and they are good killers. The downside is that it takes ages to reload, has a low rate of fire, and has only 8 shots max before it goes empty. I'd call that pretty balanced.
ALSO. It can't be "shotgun city" since breacher class is limited to 2-3 players tops. So... Yeah. No shotgun city in sight, captain fearful.
@iamnotapro870 I think that LMGs, being heavy as hell, should have a big amount of sway and horizontal recoil rather than huge vertical recoil. It would make much more sense... It's indeed pretty awkward and unrealistic currently, especially for the M249.

So I was playing solo, and tried to rocket the AI technical coming in the street. Problem is, I got stuck between the table and the wall. Here :
I couldn't find any way out. Eventually, the technical got me trhough the balcony and I died.
I would also like more variety concerning insurgents' clothing... Many clothes are just so bright and colorful that they won't ever get used by anyone but trolls. Those purple or ultra-bright white/red/blue clothes don't really make sense. You almost shine like a christmas tree in the middle of the desert, while Security guys all have some pretty good camouflage that make them blend quite efficiently in the map. We should have the ability to dress Insurgents a bit like how they look in Insurgency 2 (adapted for Sandstorm ofc), at the very least.
One could argue that silhouette is the most important thing, and that's true. Yet, in dark bushy places, when prone or in the shadows, insurgents are easy to spot while Security forces (given they either have DCU, Desert Smear (my personnal favourite <3) or any other efficient camo) somtimes blend too well in the scene for you to detect them in your peripheral vision... Where you don't look directly and don't give as much attention as to the rest of the image.
As for the robes, I don't really want to see them. It would most likely look ugly, unless perfectly animated and physically simulated, which would not be good for people with lower tier computers.
EDIT : With the addition of tatoos and eastern-european insurgents, I feel like there should be way more armless upper body clothing and some more eastern-european inspired clothing too. Security, once again, is fine on that end. They don't have a lot of different jackets/fatigues, but they are both beautiful and have the rolled up sleeves option.
So, atm when you take control of a friendly bot in local play after you died, it basically ends the game. You manage to take control over the bot, and a few seconds later you simply cease to exist. You're back at the respawn screen, and when the countdown to the next respawn wave comes to 0, a wave is wasted and the countdown sets to 9secs again. It keeps doing that until you run out of waves and eventually lose the game.
