EDIT : Nevermind, the problem was my computer. Don't know what happened, but I rebooted and everything worked properly again.
The thing is that I saw aimpoints in real life that were much clearer than that, so... Yeah...
A bit like those : http://www.ar15.com/ammo/project/OpticsReticles/EOTech/552.jpg
To make things clear right now : it's not a bug. The game is currently designed like this.
I just wonder why the Kobra and Holo aimpoints look so fuzzy & poorly detailed compared to the red dot and the OKP-7. Especially the holographic aimpoint, which makes aiming harder than with iron sights since the bleeding light covers way too large of an area to actually see your target. The Kobra suffers from the same bleeding effect yet in a way less dramatic extent.
Will it be fixed, or is it a feature ?...
Hi devs !
I'm pretty sure you already know this, but hey...
The game doesn't react when I use 4K downsampling from 1080p. Whether I use fullscreen or borderless mode, DSR just doesn't work. There is no way to go past the native resolution. Don't know why...
Yup. The thing that shook me the most was the framerate on the main menu. I went from 107fps to 204.
I now play the game with higher settings, limited to 45fps so that I don't experience too much violent frame drops. Works kinda well, but you're definitely right when saying optimization still needs some work.
With an i7 4930K, 980Ti, 16Gb of ram (i'm running the game on a 1Tb sshd, so not the best), I still should be able to max this out in 1080p at a stable 60fps (maybe even 4K at 30-60fps).
May be hardware related. Your computer is awefully weak. Way below what would normally be required to even run the game.
B is already the default key for gas masks.
I was in a game (map : Summit), coop mode, and my team mates and I got killed right after spawning by enemies right on the spawn site (they were no more than 3 meters away for us). It would seem that AI needs a "restricted area" system too.
In Insurgency 2, the key binding let one use a key or mouse button to cycle through weapons (primary and secondary) and to cycle through tools (rocket launchers, C4, grenades -in Sandstorm's case, that would include binoculars- etc). I think adding that to Insurgency Sandstorm would be great. I prefer that rather than using numbers on the keyboard, and I might not be the only one. Leaves me plenty of room to customize controls.
Thanks for your time and thanks for the game.
