About me

Hi Folks,
i am Lightning and Team GSG 9 is my Clan which exists since 1998 !

  • I prefer playing COOP games with my teammates versus A.I. Bots
  • Realistic and tactical gameplay with good ingame voice communication is very important for me.
  • I care for my teammates by covering them and giving fire support as good as i can.
  • Close Quarters Combat (CQC) / Close Quarters Battle (CQB) is my favourite !
  • I mostly do fast moves from cover to cover, i am a quick aimer and a very efficient and reliable pointman in a squad !

--> I am as quick as a lightning strike .. that´s why my Nickname is Lightning ;-)

Best regards,
GSG_9_Lightning

Ingame i am playing as :
LIGHTNING Team GSG 9

@Best Waifu
You wrote absolutely right ! Agree 100 %
We need a working voting system to kick out players who teamkill intentionally and also people who are AFK which is in aprox. 30 % of the games i played.
Always the same situation : the whole team dies in firefights and the AFK guy is still standing on spawn. Everybody has to wait 3-4 minutes until match is lost.

And we need a punishment system for trigger happy guys who instantly shoot everything that moves around them which give out warnings and kicks teamkillers ( by democratic voting )
for example : Message for everyone : Player XYZ teamkilled 3 times in this round ! Do you want him to be kicked and temporary banned ? --> Vote with Yes or No
And we need a ban system for continuos Teamkillers ( for the server admins only ).

Thank you !
Helped a little to improve fluidness ingame.
Frames sometimes raise to 78 maximum but mostly around 65-70.
Still some serious stutter ( could be much better )

Here are some screenshots :

ingame screenshot while spectating

post match screen

start screen

CPU and GPU are not under full load during gameplay ( only 50 % CPU load AND only 22 % GPU load MAXIMUM ) !
But why does the game NOT use the rest of the GPU and CPU resources during gameplay ????
The GPU has 50 % percent load in start screen and post match screen which produce 199 fps on a static screen ( left top corner : green number shows FPS )

With MAXIMUM load ( 99-100 % ) on CPU and GPU this game could hit the 120 FPS mark easily ( with an GTX 1080 Ti and a Core i7 processor ( just my thoughts ))
I cannot understand the programmers decision to cut the processing power off in an open beta where almost everyone is very unsatisfied with the performance of the graphics.

At this stage of the Beta version : no fluid moving possible !

This game needs URGENT PERFORMANCE OPTIMIZATION !

Comon developers !
You can´t let people play in an open beta with such bad performance issues !

@tonyhcqc

This game feels totaly different to the original Insurgency you were playing for 6 years.
The game concept is the same yeah but if you are honest it does not feel as smooth as Insurgency, does it for you ?

@thenickgann

Hey buddy !
Did you try Ghost Recon Wildlands ?
I know it´s a 3rd Person game but way better than this beta ( at this point )
Or just stay with the original Insurgency ( 2014 ) with all the mods ( medic and engineer system ) and beautifull custom maps it´s more fun as it runs really smooth in comparison to Sandstorm.

Best regards,
Lightning
