Let's be real here also.. Once you get used to using your melee button to bust windows you can break a window and vault through fairly quickly anyway. We just need a more streamlined smoother way to do that imo. It's kind of goofy the way it is now. A better animation for breaking the window would be good also. I'd rather see my character hit the window with the stock end of his rifle then the current animation personally. I find the current melee window break rather lame.

@Sharpeyehodgey You are spot on about the door killing people. That's the dumbest shit I ever seen. I like kicking the doors down though. It's fun as hell. I hope they keep it but they should make it where it just knocks people down rather than killing them.

What happened? The scopes were awesome before. Why did you guys change them? Before the last update scopes took most of the screen so that you had a wide sight picture when using them which was fantastic because that's how scopes are in real life. You look through them, you don't use them with 2 eyes open. Now it's crap. Not like I'm looking through a scope anymore at all. Now it's like using a red dot with both eyes open. I don't want Pubg scopes. Put it back the way it was.. red dots are good though. Just give us a bigger sight picture with scopes so it looks like we are using a scope not a red dot please.

As it is right now... often times we get the same map over and over. It sucks. Sometimes I get the same map 5 or 6 times in a row. Other times I join a game only to join at the end with zero waves left. Plus I rarely get to play the maps I want to play. Let us stay in the same game and vote for the next map guys. Competitive should be the only game mode that makes you play with new people every game.

Good post. I agree with you on some of this and disagree on some... You have some good points.

Definitely need more scopes & sights.

I really like the idea of smaller maps. However I also like the bigger maps. So I having a mix of both would be awesome. I think smaller maps for competitive one life game modes is a good idea, and maybe the bigger maps for the respawn game modes. Some more competitive game modes to go along with the smaller maps would be good too. Maybe a bomb plant mode, hostage rescue ect...

Now a couple things I disagree with..

I disagree on the recoil. I like the current recoil. An M4 or ak74 really doesn't have all that much recoil. An experienced shooter can control them pretty easily to keep them on target IRL. Even an akm isn't that bad. I feel like they did a pretty good job on that. It's not nonexistent recoil like cod or anything.

I disagree with you on the damage also. One shot kills anywhere on the body is too much. Kind of dumb getting shot in the foot and dying. Of course headshots should be one shot one kill but other parts of the body should not be, unless it's your head or heart. And heart would only matter if you are not wearing armor. Even then.. several shots might not drop someone. IRL there are a lot of times where people get shot multiple times and continue moving or fighting for a good while before they eventually fall out. When you have that adrenaline going a lot of times you don't even realize you are injured. Just like hunting.. If you shoot a deer, and don't place your shots, alot of times it will just run off, and you will have to track it.. Same deal.. I like the current damage system. What would be cool though is if they added some kind of bleed effect where say if you got shot a bunch of times in non vital areas, instead of just instant dying you could take a few steps & still sort of fight back for a few seconds until you pass out & die from losing too much blood. Maybe make it things get blurry, and movement progressively get slower.

I think that's about it. I agree with most everything else you said in your post. Good post.

I think the title say's it all but.. to elaborate. I really enjoy the game, but it still feels like it is lacking. We need more maps. Maybe bring back some of the old maps but above that... introduce a map or two that are urban city maps. Maybe even some jungle or woods maps. Every map doesn't have to be some craphole town in iraq guys. It would be nice to change it up. I like the game. The guns feel good & realistic. The damage & hit markers feel good. The game is starting to run a lot smoother. Now we need some content. The customization is a bit weak. We need more scopes & sights to choose from. Plus the game modes get boring pretty quick. You guys should consider doing a bomb plant/defusal game mode or a hostage rescue gamemode or something else tactical where you have one life for the round besides just firefight.. Anyway.. Just my 2 cents for what's it worth. thanks guys.

I don't understand why so many games can't get armor & hit damage right. I'm not a programmer but damn.. Counterstrike has been doing it since the 90's... You just need good hitboxes. Surely that can't be that difficult? Especially with all the modern improvements in game engines since those days.. Has anyone played that WW3 game? That game is made by an Indy developer also on the Unreal engine, and they have the armor spot on in that game. If you get hit in the chest area it will do like 10 damage "unless you are using armor piercing ammo", but if you get shot in the stomach just below the armor plate it does 80 damage. They have excellent hit boxes. You can get shot in your hands, neck, legs, or wherever and it all does different damage amounts based on the location and ammo used. Plus after you die the death screen pops up with a picture of your character that shows where every bullet hit you, and how much damage each shot did.. PERFECT! That should be the standard for all shooters. Whoever said that having an armor plate that actually works would make the game like COD... Nope.. Wrong. Go play WW3... Nothing like COD. People still die quick, but the armor actually works.

Like the title say's.. remove airstrikes from skirmish. Keep em on push that's fine. Makes more sense on push anyway. In skirmish the airstrikes don't do anything useful. They're just loud, and annoying. The entire reason my buddies and I got into skirmish was because people rarely called in airstrikes & it's a fast respawn game mode.. Now that the open beta is here... we might as well be playing push. Airstrikes dropping back to back. We can't hear each other. We're trying to scream over that bs half the match. It's lame. In fact.. it's to the point that we now take the commander spots just so we don't have to hear it. I absolutely love this game other than the airstrikes and I'd rather not have to do that but that shit is killing me. Gimme a break. Not everyone wants to hear that most of the match... and giving us firefight as the only alternative that doesn't have airstrikes is bs. Firefight is not too bad of a game mode to play here & there but most of the time it's not enjoyable to wait 5 minutes to respawn. Skirmish is where it's at... or was... come on guys.. Help us out here.
