yeah theres limits on what different space marines can take. as an example, only assault marines have access to an eviscerator (within the astartes) and only terminators have access to chainfists, which are their only choice for chain weapons. power weapons tend to be less restricted. Its kind of like how only terminators can take assault cannons since theyre going to make the most of it, while a power armored marine could never be able to carry one. since termie armor is so huge, chainswords would likely be broken or be too small to hold. Plus where a chainsword could rip through flak or carapace armor, chainfists and powerfists can rip through tanks, so it serves the needs of termies better
Yeah as much as i want to keep loving this game im really losing steam with every time we're told "itll come when it comes"
saw on a steam forum that someone had contacted streum directly, and they said an update was coming "fairly soon" and as much as id love to get excited, fairly soon seems to mean in terms of months.
The communication plan still isn't here and even in valrak's video when confronted with the fact of how they've treated the community all they did was shrug and say they messed up, yet here we are with nothing changed
There really are 2 separate sets of frustration like you said. both can be helped by telling us when the thing is coming out. With a day, not a quarter or a soon. The console community has stayed loyal to a game that seems to have disregarded them entirely. It was supposed to be on consoles from the start, then it was supposed to be on consoles a year later, now its coming soon.
The PC community paid for a game that was, at it's core, unfinished. They too have patiently waited for the game to be enhanced, and after a fantastic beta, are left in the dark with the console community, as we all apparently wait for what appears to be some kind of extreme polish.
All we need is a date, if the game is so close to done there is no logical reason to only give us "this year for sure!" and they know it
