MudRunners, get ready to fire up your engines, because the Old-Timers DLC arrives on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch on April 30!

We’re delighted to announce this third free DLC for MudRunner. Explore the wild new map, the Rocky Hills behind the wheel of two new vehicles from the 1950s – the Chevrolet Napco 3100 (1957), and the GMC DW950 (1952-1954).

0_1555508318450_MudRunner_Old-timers_04.jpg

These grizzled old veterans can’t wait to show you what they’re made of. And who said you can’t teach old dogs new tricks? As a scout vehicle, the Chevy Napco 3100 brings two brand new attachments: the loaded cart log (exclusive to the Rocky Hills Map), and the scout trailer.

And if you're looking for versatility, look no further than the GMC DW950. The king of attachments, the GMC is able to equip a ton of different attachments to suit your needs.

Keep in mind that the Old-Timers DLC does not require the American Wilds expansion, but if you do have American Wilds, don’t forget to try the attachments from that on the new Old-Timers vehicles!

The Rocky Hills map continues to take inspiration from the American Wilderness, providing a beautifully raw region of rocks and pine where pickup trucks are truly in their element.

We'd also like to give you guys a quick update on MudRunner 2. A week ago, we showed the game off to journalists at our yearly event What's Next, and it was a real pleasure to see your reactions to our pictures from the presentations (https://twitter.com/PlayMudRunner/status/1116317472657825792). There should be more news from journalists in the coming days and weeks, so hold on to your hats!

Thank you, and keep on truckin'.

Old-Timers is a DLC coming out April 30th on PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Switch. We're excited to present one of its new vehicles - the GMC DW950! Old-Timers includes a brand new map, the Rocky Hills, and two new vehicles.

Vehicle Description:
If you need versatility and utility, the GMC DW950 should be near the top of your list. With the ability to attach a long list of various trailers, this veteran hauler is most at home on the road, unlike its sibling truck, the Western Star 6900XD.

Game Stats:
With 600 points of damage, The GMC DW950 knows how to take a hit and keep going. The 330L fuel capacity lets it keep going well into the sunset without a break.

Strengths:
Due to its armory of attachments and sturdy build, the GMC DW950 will have a solution to most of your problems, as long as it can keep its wheels on a solid road.

Weaknesses:
Although the GMC DW950 is a king on the road, off-road is outside its area of expertise.

Hi everyone,

We have just rolled out a new Community Testing Environment, or CTE! All Insurgency: Sandstorm owners should now see a new app called the “Insurgency: Sandstorm Community Testing Environment” showing up in their Steam libraries - you only need to download this if you want to be part of our testing.

What is the CTE?

The CTE is where we test bug fixes, upcoming content, and new features. Please be aware that this is a developer test build of the game and you may encounter unexpected bugs or issues. Content shown in the CTE is not final and may or may not be implemented into the public version.

When will the CTE be available?

The CTE app should be showing up in your Steam library, however, you will only be able to access the build once the CTE opens at 4pm CET on Friday the 22nd of February, trying to access the CTE before this time will result in the following error.

The CTE will close at the end of the testing phase, for this initial test we will take down the matchmaking servers on Monday morning European time, however, the CTE will be used for testing all future patches/updates, please see our blog or social media closer to time time for details of future tests.

Can I record / stream / discuss the CTE?

There are no restrictions on recording, streaming, or discussing the CTE, however, it’s important to disclose that any footage or feedback is from the testing environment. We will set up dedicated sections of the official forums and Steam discussions at the opening of the CTE.

What is new on the CTE?

When the CTE opens you will be able to preview many of the features of the upcoming February update, some of the highlights can be found below.

Hey @Bublito

Sorry to hear you are unhappy with the game at this time. We appreciate the feedback you are giving, but must ask you to refrain from using the title you used before my edit for any future posts, since it's not constructive to a positive environment on the forums.

Although we're very glad a lot of people are enjoying the game, we want to improve it further with the help of your feedback. So we're happy to say that tomorrow we will be having a community update where we answer many of the concerns you point out in your post.

Have a good evening!

Hey @Necroledo

I can confirm that the Necrons Reload Stance is currently bugged, and that this has already been fixed for the next update. 🙂 It's also good to know that the tooltip text for inertialess drive is confusing. I've passed this on to the team, who will take a look at it. Thanks!

Hey there @VectorStrike

Thanks for these thoughts on boarding. It's a topic the team is looking at very closely, and we recently mentioned some future changes to it in our patch one announcement. I'll paste it here for you (for the full text, see here).

As we mentioned earlier, we are always listening to your feedback, and one thing we noticed was that not everyone are entirely happy with the current state of boarding. As a result, we are hard at work on a new and improved boarding system. While we can’t go into every detail, the new system will have a stacking mechanic whereby troop damage is dealt gradually over time depending on the number of “boarding stacks”. This will allow players a chance to hold back the invaders using a reimagined Call to Arms ability. We look forward to revealing more details about this in the near future.

Hey everyone!

After a lot of hard work on Necromunda, we feel the time has come for a closed playtest to get important feedback from you, our community.
If you are selected, we will contact you with all the details you’ll need to participate.
This time around, we’re looking for a fairly small number of players. We will scale this up for future playtests, so if you don’t get picked for this one, you might still get selected in the future.

Thanks!

[UPDATE] Thanks for replying to the form, we have now filled all our slots! We will contact everyone shortly. Don’t worry if you missed out, we will have more playtests in the future, so keep your eye on this channel!

Hi @40ktallarner-0

Some countries have laws which make having players there competing very complicated to organise from a legal point of view. It seems Iraq is one of these countries. Sorry I can't do more to help, we of course want as many people to join the competitive seasons as possible.
