Just saying. Feel free to actually discuss MY post and exactly what it contains as like I iterated last time, I have little free time, and a lot less time for this word tennis match that seems to really be getting nowhere. I’m sure that you will twist and chop this post to suit your snide comeback. Will be sure to promptly check for the reply..............
Having followed this for a while now, I'm having really hard time telling if you're actually serious or just trolling heavily. I'm leaning towards the latter.
From what I've read from your posts, you're saying the game is cheating with dice rolls and the devs are not telling the whole truth. The evidence you've provided so far has been 1) "a feeling" you have and 2) a wordplay about a duck. The devs have provided explanation and the actual piece of RNG code (which you've handwaved away, insulting everyone who works with software in the same go).
I don't know man... Reading your word salad is painful. Is there actually anything worth discussing here? Obviously you've made up your mind and no amount of statistics or code can convince you otherwise. What is there to discuss? Make your case and provide the evidence. And no; a feeling based on "30 years of dicerolling experience" or a duck just won't cut it. Sorry. You need to show us some numbers and facts.
Better solutions would involve things like letting you know how many other people are looking for a match, or scheduled 5-minute pools rather than the current "start with the first person" pools.
I'd be super happy if they could just display the time spent in queue somewhere. The pop-up window you get when you start looking for a game disappears way too quickly, they could just sticky it. If you'd also add how many other players are in the pool spinning the same time and a little audio/visual notification (window blink) when match is found ... now that would be great quality of life improvement... mind blown
It's a good idea. But producing graphical assets is expensive.
I wouldn't mind paying for custom "skin/armor pack" DLCs from the shop though.
Would be cool if we had more body types per race and if certain pieces of armor could be swapped out individually.
It was a very thorough explanation - which is exactly what is needed to kill the idiotic "RNG-cheating" speculation threads.
and as a plus, it's interesting to know the server is written in Python
Would it be possible to add a notification of some sort (sound or window 'blink') when opponent is found and your match is ready to begin?
I tend to alt-tab and browse the web or do other stuff while I'm waiting for the game to find me an opponent, and sometimes the Inducements phase ticks past due to this.
It would be great if the window could blink - or if there was a sound informing you opponent has been found. This could of course be an option - that can be enabled/disabled from the menu for those who think such things are annoying.
I would be nice if the official guide at http://www.bloodbowl-game.com/en/bloodbowl2/multiplayer could say couple of extra words about the different official leagues, right now it only vaguely hints there will be official leagues, but doesn't really tell how to get there.
It's not super hard to figure out or Google, but in interest of people looking for the "quick lobby experience" (as this is rather common term in other multiplayer games) - it's not super intuitive. The Guide could be improved to include that information perhaps.
Anyway, thought I'd try to balance this thread with a constructive suggestion.
They announced that existing BB2 coaches would get Legendary cheaper well in advance. And that's what happened.
Sorry, but I don't really see the problem (other than you buying the wrong version) or the greediness from Focus.
Perhaps something was lost in translation here, but seems you're making a huge thing out of nothing.
