I was on my CP 55, doing some tests with the MANTIS set and the Blue X-Cables.
The first one reduces energy cost of injectables by 25% and the last one by 10%.
The Mechanized Counterweight cost 12 energy. (12-4,2=7.8) 8 with the set bonus and implant. When used with 16 energy, 8 are left.
But I can still use it with 7 energy. While the "energy bar indicator" is red and above my energy generated.
If the energy bar isn't precise enough to calculate the decimals, it's ok but... It's still costing less than it's supposed to.
The Medi-Voltaic Injection v.3 cost 24 energy. (24-8,4=15,6) 16 energy with the set bonus and implant.
And it is confirmed. When I use the injectable with 18 energy ; 2 energy is left.
But when at 16 energy, the "energy cost indicator" is red. I can still use it.
It's not over. I can also use the injectable with only 14 energy. And that is not in the domain of the decimals anymore. It's 2 whole energy points ! And that is not ok.
My only answer to this, is that I have not generated 14 energy, but 14,x . And it is considered by the game as 15.
Also, even by costing 16, the true result is 15,6. Therefore, the game might be allowing the usage at what is considered 15...
It's not clear at all and the "energy cost indicator" is still misplaced.
Ugh... Why am I even doing this ?!
I'm not sure about this one, but it seems to me that the screens showing the status of the rescue team from the DLC are inverted.
Sorry for the size of the images, I took screenshot and don't know how to change that kind of stuff.
On that screenshot you can see the status of the members of Largo's team. It's written that they are all dead, but it's before I get to take the rollercoaster and met the ennemies in Eagle armor.
This screenshot as been taken after activating the Rusty Spring Tower. We can see that the chief Helvig is the only one dead and the other are missing. But I killed quite a few of the rescue team and Eastwood has been confirmed dead by Rodrigez in the audiolog : "Message to S&R Control Station"
Those two status screen should appear in another order, right ..?
Another thing I notice in this OPS...
After beating Carbon Cat, the door to "Largo's place" is always open. I can't talk to Largo from "up here" so I don't think it's normal. That wouldn't bother me too much. What bother me is the fact every time I pass "the door", I hear the sound of an "opening door" and that's clearly not normal.
Alright, I hope I didn't wasted anyone time.
Have a good day !
After coming back to the Nucleus and talking to Dr. Chavez, she will give me the item Encrypted Data Chip. Indefinitly...
I have 102 of the Nanite Recalibration Program in my inventory/Organizer. I guess it's normal that they share the same image, but they probably shouldn't stack ..? And Chavez gives me the item at other occasion too.
Alright, that's it. Please make an endgame DLC before The Surge 2 !
Have a good day !
I'm talking about some kind of (Rooted) Chalice Dungeon from Bloodborne.
The PvE of The Surge is awesome. Even after completing NG+4 and completing a Core Power 10 run, I still want more. But going through the game, again and again... ugh.
Something challenging for someone that have already completed the game and "master" the game mechanics. Because the more NG+ I complete, the less the game mechanics are importante. Stability and Defense become useless. Can't block, therefore implants for blocking become useless ; most injectables are useless too... Not the kind of challenge I'm after. Something that let me use my endgame knowledge and skill, that let me use all the tools I got through the game.
The Surge cruelly needed more endgame content, it's frustrating.
Anyway, I'm sure you get the idea. My regards !
