@knight25 said in MR 2 beta test:

@netheos If MR2 will be finished in a few months, can we expect MR1 updates in meantime?

We're far from the end of the development for MudRunner 2. Don't expect it in a few months. We'll release more info about the game as we get closer to release but it will take some time.

I confirm that we have more content planned for MudRunner 1. We'll share that when it's ready 🙂

Hello, it's official. We're doing Playtests for MudRunner 2 in March in our office in Paris. Sorry it's in French as we don't expect people to come from abroad for a simple playtest. But you can register if you're ready to come to Paris for a few days 🙂

Tweet is here: https://twitter.com/MudRunnerSpin/status/1098532350177275905

Edit: Note that it's only an early playtest, we're far from a Beta for now.

Hello,

Are your teams still in the Cabalvision Official League or outside it?

There is a filter for experienced team at the level of the league. If your teams come from the Champion Ladder, you have to leave the competition but not the league to be able to register with them to the open ladder.

Xbox One Champion Ladder Rules - Season 22

Champion Ladder Rules PC-Mac / Champion Ladder Rules PS4

  • Fresh teams (max 1000 Team Value) with rookie players only may join the league.

  • Over 5 concessions by a coach in a season and you're booted for the remainder that season - that's a coach limit, not just a team limit. Get booted two seasons in a row and you're banned for the third season. Disconnections which fail to reconnect will count as concessions.

  • Champion Ladder season 22 ends Wednesday 3rd April 2019 at 11:59am (CEST).

  • At the end of a season, 32 coaches qualify for the seasonal playoffs ("Champion Cup"). The season will qualify the best team of each race + 8 "wild cards" for best ranked second best teams of each race.

  • If a coach qualified a top race team and a "wild card" team, the top race team is the one qualified by default. You can contact our admin team to qualify the other team(s), but if they haven't received any message by the end of the season, ticket will be sent to default first choice.

  • If a coach qualified more than one team as a top race team, the highest ranked team is qualified by default. You can contact our admin team to qualify the other team(s), but if they haven't received any message by the end of the season, ticket will be sent to default first choice.

  • The 32 coaches and their teams plays in a Knockout tournament with Cyans on the line (see below).

  • Blood Bowl fans love a good killer, sorry I mean winner! To prove it, the winner of the CCL knockout tournament can select one player from their new team in the next CCL season ladder to have the Fan Favourite skill.

    • The Fan Favourite skill must be applied before the team plays a game.
    • The champion can only select one team and one player to receive the Fan Favourite skill (no restarts).
    • If the Fan Favourite player plays a minimum of 30 games in the season and survives, the champion can pick another player to have the Fan Favourite skill in the following season too.
    • If the champion does not take part in the next season, then the fans quickly forget about them. Use it or lose it!

This skill is described in LRB6 as follow:

Fan Favourite (Extraordinary)
The fans love seeing this player on the pitch so much that even the opposing fans cheer for your team. For each player with Fan Favourite on the pitch your team receives an additional +1 FAME modifier for any Kick-Off table results, but not for the Winnings roll.

Winning a Blood Bowl 2 official season will be the only way to get this skill.

To the champion, congratulations! To everybody else, happy hunting...

  • 2800 Cyans are distributed in the Champion Cup, as follow:

    • 1st
      • 500 Cyans

  • In-game griefing includes using non-game mechanisms to harass your opponent. It will result in a ban. Again, please report such exploits to the admin team.

  • To be absolutely clear, fouling is allowed at any time you are allowed to do so. So is stalling (i.e. clock management). These are not exploits, or considered unsportsmanlike in this league.

  • Kids play this game too, so bear that in mind when making your team. Your team may be ejected from the league if the team name and/or player names are considered offensive by the admin team and/or Focus/Cyanide.

  • If you've been banned due to concessions you are not allowed to re-enter with an alternative account. If we discover that you are circumventing the ban you may be banned for up to three more seasons.

  • If you concede during a playoff match you may be banned for up to three seasons. Playing the game to completion is very important to ensure integrity and fairness for other competitors.

  • The intent of CCL is to create an environment founded on the principles of fair play and sound community. To that end, should people be found to be going against either of these principles action may be taken against them. For guidelines as to how to behave:

    • Don't be a dick in-game. If it feels like what you are doing might be construed as going against the principles of fair play then ask an admin. Asking before acting will not lead to sanction, but acting before asking very probably will.
    • Don't be a dick out of the game. Having a laugh is fine, but doing so at someone else's expense is not even if you think they deserve it.
  • Admins are granted, and reserve, the right to sanction such behaviour in-game and/or to edit or delete posts they find to contravene the above and/or to mute, ban or kick (temporarily or permanently, from discord and/or the league) individuals who make such posts.

Hey Coaches,

The Champion Ladder Season 22 of the Cabalvision Official League will start tomorrow February 20th at 12PM CET / 11AM GMT / 6AM EST / 3AM PST!

Congratulations to the winners of Champion Cup 20!

  • Bleedinghippy on PC/MAC
  • Projjkeke11 on PS4
  • Blade2993 on Xbox One

We have some important changes for this new season.

Starting from season 22 and onward, the tiebreaker criterias in the Champion Ladder are:

  • Head to head
  • Fewest concessions by the coach
  • TD difference
  • Cas difference

Some of you might know that we did some tests tweaking the maximum TV gap in the matchmaking system. After a few weeks of trial and a close look at the data, we're going back to a maximum TV gap of 500.

We're also switching to a turn duration of two minutes, instead of three, for the PC Champion Ladder season 22 and onward.

Finally, after nearly two years of prize pool on three platforms and 16 seasons, the Champion Cup 21 will be the last cup featuring a prize pool in cash.

It's not the end of the Champion Ladder. We still have hundreds of coaches and motivated admin teams (congrats to our new PS4 admins JimSardonic, Gerdleah, and Schod!). Blood Bowl 2 released 3.5 years ago and it's been an exciting ride so far. We're delighted to have such an active community hosting dozens of leagues and sharing their love of Blood Bowl. Thank you so much for that!

Champion Ladder season 22 ends 3rd April 2019 at 11:59am (CEST).

posted in Fear The Wolves read more

Hey everyone,

We're excited to announce that Fear The Wolves will officially release on February 6th!

After months of work throughout the early access period, we're thrilled to deliver Fear The Wolves' sixth major update, introducing a wealth of new content:

  • Brand new artifact system
  • A new mutant: the Wolf Matriarch
  • Anomalous lockdown areas
  • Two new artifacts
    • Wolf Matriarch Heart
    • Spore Artifact
  • New point of interest: Stadium
  • Wolve behaviour improvement. They can now break doors.
  • New customization set
  • Server capacity and repartition improvements

Artifacts are new and rare items that you can obtain by killing a wolf matriarch (to get its heart), or in the new highly radioactive anomalous lockdown areas. The matriarch heart allows you to summon friendly mutant wolves twice to help you fight enemy survivors.

The spore artifact gives you an enhanced vision mutation, allowing you to see nearby enemies through walls for a brief moment; Just enough to position yourself for a perfect ambush!

These new items should add a lot of tension and diversity throughout matches, as well as offering new strategies in late game. Waiting for the evacuation hidden in a bush isn’t such a good idea anymore when you have a pack of wolves rushing towards you!

We plan to officially deploy this massive update on February 6th, but keep an eye on the game in the days prior to launch, since we might do a soft launch a few days in advance to make sure everything is as smooth as we want it to be.

The release of Fear The Wolves is also an exciting opportunity for the team to share the vastly improved version of the game to the world! In order to celebrate the release, and allow everyone to discover the game and the many new features introduced throughout the early access period, Fear The Wolves will be entirely FREE from February 6th to 12th!

Bring your friends and dive into a decaying Chernobyl next week! And if you enjoy the improvements and our take on the Battle Royale genre, Fear The Wolves is also 50% off from February 6th to 12th! After February 12, you won’t be able to play for free anymore. Make sure to buy the game while it is discounted to continue to play!

We couldn't have done it without this small but dedicated player base who supported the team in the last few months.

In order to thank all of you for your precious support, we're happy to announce that 5000 in-game currency will be awarded to all early access players, as well as Alpha and Beta testers. There has never been a better time to come back and give a new try to the game if you’ve been disappointed by the Alpha or Beta sessions.
