Community Manager for Focus Home Interactive.
Once again you're only banned from the Champion Ladder, which is only one of the three official ladders. You still have the Open Ladder and Anarchy Ladder available, without counting the dozens of community leagues. Of course singleplayer modes and challenges are still available.
So understanding that you're just going to let your admins get away with whatever they want to do I paid good money for this game I am very upset with the situation and I would like a refund and I would like to know how I go about pursuing that refund
If you bought the game on Steam, you can find their refund policy here: https://store.steampowered.com/steam_refunds/
We're happy to release Vampyr's third update introducing new difficulty modes on PS4, Xbox One and PC. There’s never been a better time for players to sink their teeth in to the dark streets of London.
This update includes two new game difficulty modes which add further replayability for existing players, and more options for those who haven’t yet gotten to grips with this dark adventure through 1918 London.
Story Mode de-emphasizes combat, placing a greater focus on narrative so players can enjoy Dr. Jonathan Reid’s journey with less challenging gameplay. On the other end of the scale, Hard Mode makes combat much more difficult. Players will receive less experience from killing enemies too, forcing them to rely even more on embracing citizens to grow in power. Upon starting a new game, players will be given the option to choose from these two new modes or a third ‘Normal Mode’ if they wish to play the original Vampyr experience.
In addition to the new difficulty modes, the update introduces a host of optimization tweaks and fixes. Nvidia Ansel will also be made available for PC, which allows players to capture beautiful in-game screenshots, viewing and sharing them in 3D on mobile phone, PC or VR Headset. View the full patchnotes here.
Vampyr is out now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The new update is available right now. http://vampyr-game.com/shop
Each unit has Actions Points (AP). They are spent for actions like Interaction, Close Assault or Movements. The AP count is reset at the beginning of a new turn.
Only the Terminators can retrieve additional AP (AP Squad) by converting a Card.
Convert a Card has a different effect depending of the faction you play.
Only Terminators need to have a line of sight in order to use certain actions (ie: Shoot Action with a Storm Bolter). A line of sight can be obstructed by a unit or an Interactive Object (ie: doors).
A Full Turn is the addition of Terminator + Genestealer Turns.
At the end of their Turn, each opponent draw the necessary amount of cards to have 3 of them in hand. If they already have 3 cards (or more) at the end of their turn, no cards are drew.
We advise you to set the timer to the maximum value for your first missions.
4 AP at the beginning of a turn.
Every movement costs AP. Due to their heavy armors, the cost depends of the direction (turn around or step back cost 2AP instead of 1AP):
AP Squad can only be retrieve by converting one Card per Turn. They are shared within all the units.
Terminator can shoot against a target or on a square only if it is in his line of sight:
You are not forced to wait the end of a unit’s animation to play an other one: orders for Terminators can be stacked and will be played in the same order.
It is also working with the commands Play and Convert for Cards in your hand.
6 AP at the beginning of a turn for a basic Genestealer.
Movements cost AP, but due to their agility, they can turn around for free.
Genestealer Player can bring more units on the battlefield by converting one Card per Turn. Each Genestealer Card has 2 Blips values on its right top.
Each Blip contain an amount of Genestealers hidden inside of it. The values are between «0» (lure) and «3». A lure Blip of «0» will disappear after a short time (Alpha Closed test: 1 turn).
The Genestealer player Turn is subdivised in 2 separated phases:
- Conversion phase
- Action phase
Only in this Phase a card can be converted in order to retrieve Blips. After the conversion, Blips to place are visible on the bottom of screen. The can do it only by selecting Entries Points. There are a limited amoint of Slots inside an Entry Point.
Ending manually this Phase is the only way to trigger the next one.
Units can be deployed and used.
To bring out a Blip, you have to follow those steps:
- move your cursor hover an Entry Point (no click is necessary)
- Click or press A
- Choose the blip you want in the wheel that has appeared above the entry point
- once the Blip you want is highlighted, press A (GamePad) or click (mouse)
- the Blip is now on the battlefield and no more inside the entry point
Once you have selected a blip or a genestealers, you are not allowed to switch and use another one until you have:
- used all of your AP
- reveal the blip
If you want to switch to another blip or genestealer, you have to "validate" your actions with it by clicking the "red cross" in the action bar. You can also hold right click or hold B on your game pad. Doing so, your unit turns inactive until next turn.
In order to have a Special unit on the battlefield, you need first to Play the corresponding card in your hand on the specified Blip and to have the required amount of Menace Point (or MP).
Once the Blip has been chosen, you will have to wait your next Turn before the unit appears.
Special01 : Bulwark Biomorph
This unit is slower than its kind: 4 AP (instead of 6) but it requires 2 successful dices (instead of 1) in order to kill it. These successes can be splited : one can come form a shot with a Storm Bolter and the second one from a close Assault Action.
Special02: Reaperfex Biomorph
His agility allows him to cross over squares already occupied by other units or Interactive Object.
He also has 8 AP (instead of 6).
Special03 : Broodlord
- He can use the action Vanish (the cost is 6 AP) which allows to move from its current square to an other one on the battlefield.
Player has to choose an eligible square nearby to do this action: < 13 squares from its origin ; > 4 to an opponent’s unit ; > 10 to an extract point
- If the unit is beyond 7 squares from a Terminator: 1 adjacent square of the Broodlord is an entry area for Blip
Special04: Miasmic Biomorph
When it dies, his body spills a gaz on its square (visually for the Close Alpha we used flames). It lasts 1 turn. Every cost for a Terminator’s movement in this area costs double.

The next patch for Fear The Wolves releases on Monday, the 17th of September!
Drop into a post-apocalyptic danger zone in Fear the Wolves, a competitive and atmospheric Battle Royale game from Vostok Games. Fear the Wolves drops players, in squads or as lone wolves, into the oppressive environments of a radiation-ravaged Chernobyl. The classic Battle Royale mode forces them to fight to be the last man standing.
The team has been hard at work making sure the game is constantly improving and today marks one of the first large updates for Fear the Wolves.
We've been condensing our models and creating new LODs to improve performance. Optimization is the top priority, and this will always be worked on throughout Early Access and even post-launch.
Several new points of interests have been added to the map, including complex industrial and urban settings. These dense and complex multi-storied buildings have loot on all levels so be careful and thorough!
Several parts of the map’s topography have been changed, with some tree heights being altered so that the extraction helicopter has new places to land.
Kill-hungry players will be pleased to know that player and wolf kills are added to the rewards at the end of each match. More difficult kills like headshots, vehicle kills, grenade kills, and melee kills are also rewarded with bonus points.
Spectator Matchmaking - You can queue for the next game while spectating
New Customization Sets – Unlock the Edge and the Gangster sets
10 Additional Languages – French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Polish, Chinese (Traditional), Czech, Hungarian and Turkish
Improved visuals - Updated anomaly effects, weather effects, and a variety of new shooting VFX
Compass – By popular demand!
And much more - Squad radiation status display, toggle for movement keys, increased map precision
If you haven’t been playing since launch, we’ve added several new features in the last two updates. During non-peak hours, the playable area can be scaled up and down depending on the size of the queue allowing for shorter, more intimate and intense games. Weapons and loot have also been rebalanced, making shotguns and pistols more lethal, and higher tier loot more frequent in the cities.
More information will be revealed in the incoming months, so stay tuned for more!
Fear the Wolves is currently available in Early Access. Can you survive the apocalypse?
Welcome to a new article unveiling more about The Surge's newest expansion - The Good, the Bad, and the Augmented, coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC October 2.
In the bowels of the CREO facility, you'll explore an old and abandoned Quality Assurance lab created to push CREO’s tech to the limit. Warren will face Dr. Rischboter’s deadly test chambers that, for some reason, feel like torn straight out of a twisted Wild West TV show!
The mad doctor’s training rooms are accessible through several access points spread over the environments of the base game. The testing chambers are numbered from 1 to 9, each room being more difficulty to finish than the previous one, but also more rewarding.
Each stage can be customized with a series of modifiers which also alter the rewards for beating the room. As shown in the screenshot below, you can combine up to 4 of 16 insane modifiers available. You can pick a maximum of one modifier for each row.
Here is the list of modifiers and their effects:
Energy Dynamo - Constant energy fluctuations
Lactose Tolerant - After losing health, recollect it as cheesy treats. No injections available.
Free Healthcare - Med packs scattered throughout the levels. No injections available.
Leech - Player and enemies steal each other's life. No injectable use.
Vintage - Sped-up black & white fun, just like the good old days. No sound effects.
Chrono-Master - Performing moves makes time move faster than normal and increase the damage you deal. If you do nothing or get hit, it'll slow down again.
Combo Maker - Perfect combos increase damage, failed combos decrease it.
Rush Hour - A timer is set on Warren's life. Successful kills buy him more time.
Short Fuse - If you don't cut limbs, enemies will go out with a bang!
Danger Close - Dying enemies drop power cores.
Fire and Brimstone - Fire traps scattered all around the facility.
Epicenter - Every once in a while, a flame pit opens up right below Warren.
Polterguys - Invisible enemies, visible weapons, losta pain!
Arms Race - Auto-equip the weapon of the last killed enemy.
Cut-And-Go - Enter the episode without any armor, cut limbs to instantly equip the enemy's armor.
Black Belt - Dispense pain with your bare firsts - and look like a real drunken master! Hitting armored body parts will wound you.
At the end of each stage, fight against distinct Challengers, powerful opponents forged from the training scenarios who are equipped with 30 unique new equipment pieces – armors, weapons, and implants - that you can take for yourself!
The harder and crazier the modifiers, the better the rewards! Each gear from The Good, The Bad and The Augmented has an upgraded V2 version, some have even better hidden upgrades!
The testing chambers are slowly unlocked through the main story in a first run, and all available from the start in NG+. We can't wait to see you test the tons of crazy combinations available, such as the black & white "vintage" modifier
The Surge: The Good, the Bad, and the Augmented will be available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on October 2.
We're sorry to hear that the size of the update prevents you from playing for a few hours, but we have to focus on releasing regular updates to improve the game.
