The difference either of these attachments makes on a weapon's handling is unreal. They feel mandatory on a lot of weapons unless you like having your shots fly wildly off target.

Shame, too, because I much prefer running my guns without a foregrip since I just don't like the way it looks on most weapons. But I just can't adjust to the recoil on most weapons without it.

(Also, the recoil reduction from crouching feels a little too OP. As in, your gun essentially becomes a laser. Feels like that should be dialed down a bit so recoil control is still a thing even while crouched.)

@tooth-decay You misunderstand. I'm not talking about the generic 'select equipment' key.

In Counter-Strike, every type of grenade can have its own bind. So you could bind the F key to flashbangs and just hit F whenever you want to use one instead of having to hit the grenade key over and over to get to the flashbang.
(But don't confuse this for a Halo or COD style grenade key. It just selects and equips the grenade. It doesn't automatically prime it to throw.)

It'd be a lot more convenient to use utility if Sandstorm implemented a similar mechanic.

@apollo-plays Been in Steam's top sellers for weeks... and it's not even finished.

This could be NWI's breakout hit if they play their cards right.

@thehappybub I've actually been wanting the devs to add a depth-of-field effect to most sights. Even if they don't want to take the sight body out of focus completely, it'd make for a more comfortable aiming experience.

And a DOF effect on iron sights would make them a lot more viable.

It gets annoying having to press the 3 key over and over to get the grenade I want. Would it be possible for us to get grenade hotkeys so we can instantly select the one we want like in Counter-Strike?

AI technicals are scary shit, man. If that gunner so much as sees a pixel of your body sticking out, you're dead, and anyone unfortunate enough to be standing behind you is dead, too.

Over the past two days, I have been getting TKed MULTIPLE TIMES in every. Single. Match. It is beyond a joke at this point. I'm sick of it. It's ruining the game for me. If it doesn't stop, I'm about ready to just give up and uninstall.

We need harsher penalties to discourage team killing. Right now, if people know how to manipulate the system, they can TK as much as they want without consequence. Apply an XP penalty for people who TK. Give them a matchmaking ban. I don't care, just do something. Force people to learn some effing trigger discipline, please. Losing matches to people who TK, whether it's deliberate or by accident, isn't fun.

Last match, I got TKed while holding a molotov, which erupted the ground around my dead body in flames, causing a chain reaction that killed several other teammates...

With the amount of people demanding to have INS:Source's TTK back, I'm sure they'll eventually nerf armor to the point of uselessness and the game will basically become INS:Source again.

NWI has no spine when dealing with feedback.

Yes, I loved when I was basically always required to sacrifice 3 supply points or lose every 1v1 gunfight I got into.

Whatever. NWI has already nerfed armor to complete uselessness, so I'm sure you'll get your way eventually. They have absolutely no spine when it comes to dealing with feedback.

Go ahead. Call me a filthy casual / COD player / whatever. I don't care. I'm sick and tired of this discussion.
