@sdani said in Peripheral Support In Spintires: MudRunner:

PS.: I found a way on PS4 to disable centering force, so at least I'm not killing my wheel. I'm starting a game that supports FFB (e.g. project cars 2), wait for the menu to load, where there is no centering force. At this point, I start mudrunner, that results no centering force either, so I'm not killing the wheel for a useless function...

Great that you have found a kind of workaround, but that shouldn't be necessary when the devs had did there job well from the very beginning. It is ridiculous that you have to use 'tricks' so that you don't kill your wheel because the devs don't no the difference between ForceFeedback or plain centering force.

For me personally, I don't play anymore until the devs have improved the game on all points. I only check this forum once in a while to see how thing are.

@neccoguy21

@sdani but one of the options is literally turning off or on the FFB. Are you sure that's checked?

As for me personally, I have checked the option for turning 'on or off' the FFB support. However, the so called 'Force Feedback' seems to be just a kind of stronger Centering Force...

[...] But when you buy a game with logging in mind, dont come and complain 5 minutes after about it being a game with logging in mind.

Mudrunner isn't a logging game as per the official description of the game

And I quote
"Spintires: MudRunner puts you in the driver’s seat and dares you to take charge of incredible all-terrain vehicles, venturing across extreme landscapes with only a map and compass as your guides!"

Also the photos showcase a real wild area russian situation with various cargos being transported through offroad terrain.

Logging is one of these things to be done.

Well said. Exactly my point of view!

Is this only the T150 or all other supported wheels are without FFB?

I have the Fanatec CWB v2.5; No Force Feedback - just like you: only Centering Force.

@sloppyslingers if you don't want a logging game, then why are you complaining about A LOGGING GAME, go find something else to complain about. And another thing, a russian developer making a russian game that takes place in russia isn't going to use american style vehicles, just sayin'.

@hayden-iglio So what you are saying is that Spintires Mudrunner is only a logging game? I don't think Spintires Mudrunner is only a logging game. If it was, why do we have to 'visit grandma' in a normal street car and why is there a mission to keep a Jeep on a mountain trail? Both missions have got nothing to do with logging... So I think SloppySlingers does have a point when he means to say that the creators of this game are lacking creativity when it comes to creating 'more exciting' DLC... You can tell that by looking at al the stuff modders are creating (different cars, maps) for the SM PC version... This game has got a lot more of potential when you look at it with a creative mind.

@mr-t said in ideas for future updates:

Wait what?! They doing it again?!
Lol.
This is the biggest scam of modern days, and bigger than any other company in gaming ever did.
Spintires sold millions of dollars in the first month and 3 years after that didn't deliver the promises and goals, and left the game incomplete.
Now they claim it was inner strife so the russian dude goes with other publisher and releases the same game (this mudrunner) and asks an outrageous 30 usd/euro retail price for the same already 4-5 years old game, but now targets a fresh market of unsuspecting victims..the console players.
And the game play itself is the worst version of the original Spintires.
The mud from hell update as it was to be known. Stupid mud physics that would bog down any of the mighty trucks because the maps are stupid small and with no content so the only way to force players to WASTE time is to force them to be like snails.
These asshats should release the full source code to the community so that actual programmers could develop this game to it's full potetial, with proper missions, campaigns, maps, unlocking parts, skillsa, etc.. not this wanking in the mud version

Great to see more and more people who dare to speak there mind! On console this game is a complete joke and doesn't deliver at all. On the printed package material it is said the game comes with a 'massive open world map to explore'; The biggest map is 1.5 x 1.5 km and that is ridiculously small. You can't call 1.5 x 1.5 km maps 'massive' or 'open world'. Its misleading and lying. I very much like the way mr.t describes this in particular: I quote:

'Stupid mud physics that would bog down any of the mighty trucks because the maps are stupid small and with no content so the only way to force players to WASTE time is to force them to be like snails.'

So true. I seem to have paid € 40,00 for just about 5 hours of (mostly boring) gameplay. And after that the game is completely dead. You are right mr-t, this game is a scam.

new update, cool
wonder what its going to include

If it's not the so called 'massive open world to explore map' as they promised on the backside of the Spintires Mudrunner package design, nothing much I'm afraid... There's nothing to do in this game after a couple of hours gameplay. This game should not have been released for consoles...

@sloppyslingers said in DLC plans?:

@mexican_420 honestly what is there to like about the game, the devs dont listen to the majority of the community theres only a select few. They dont implement features that the majority wants, only what is easiest for them. They dont gove you very much insight at all into future plans for the game just generic responses that are dead end. They dont give much detail because they dont even know wjat they are doing. And so what if all i do is critic the game, how do you think change is made and improvements. If everyone agreed and was just happy the way it was, there would be no need to make further changes or add anything new. But thats not the case, many people feel the same as me. Only difference is i openly voice my opinion as everyone has the right to do so thats why this forum is here. If you dont agree with someones post or opinion then that is you RIGHT to disagree, not your right to tell someone that they should stop disagreeing just because it doesnt fit your ideals. How do you think any changes have every been made in history? Dissagreement or different ideas on how stuff should be done..... I think so.

Exactly my point of view; well said sloppyslingers!

When I look at this game now I think it should NEVER had been available or released on consoles, but should have stayed 'PC only' as it was. The game on consoles is dead after approx. 10-15 hours of gameplay; the Bog, the 'biggest' map in the game becomes very boring after a while and is way to small for exploring. Only the PC modding community keeps this game interesting by releasing new different maps and vehicles.

Since there's no honest clearness about modding for consoles, and I think there will never be, you can be frank to say this game has failed on the consoles.
