Here is a clip of point shooting without moving my mouse, aku is not the most accurate weapon, but this RNG horizontal recoil when point shooting is really frustrating and needs to go. I'm fine with vertical recoil but this is too much bouncing left and right, it doesn't feel natural. Point shooting IRL is really accurate if you're good, and in therms of gameplay balance I just feel like it would just be way more satisfying to be able to pointshoot more accurately.

Add keybind for vaulting because sometimes you want just to jump and not loose time vaulting a small object.
I believe a lower TTK would lower the skillcap and a one too high could too.
TTK was lower on the previous one because there was an unhealthy meta with AP ammo.
I think it's fine as it is, most weapons kill in 3 shots max, sure there could be further weapon balancing.
You don't want every weapon to one tap, you want to have heavy armor actually viable, and you want players that can control a precise spray, not a dirty spray and pray that a random single bullet kill your opponent.
I believe that the bullet come out aligned to the iron sight and not the barrel (I've not tested this with every weapon), This cause headpicking advantage where you barely see the head of a player behind cover but he is able to shoot you eventhough his barel is not pointing at you but still behind the cover, only the ironsight needs to be in line with the target.
I know this is a problem that is way more complicated to fix than it sounds and is linked to the 3rd person model, Bullet actually coming out of the barrel would be good but it could create other problems such as getting shot in the head while you think you're behind cover in your FPP camera but the top of your player model is picking out of cover.
@MeFirst @Mr-Rain I got 1k on Arma, DayZ and PUBG, and I've played the previous Insurgency. I'm fine with the gunplay on this game, I just think a more precise pointshooting (or hipfire as you call it) would reward good players, that know where their gun is pointing at.
I don't understand how you can like it so innacurate, to me you should be able to point shoot a guy standing 15m away no problem if you're good at knowing where you're aiming at. Because right now it's like the character has no fkin muscles to hold his weapon, like an 8 years old. And I'm fine with some vertical recoil, I just think there's way too much horizontal bouncing when not aiming, that's it.
Bolt action rifles should 1 tap in the arms. Because it makes the weapon RNG based when you aim correctly at the chest but it hits the arms in front of it and end up not killing your opponent.
Considering you have only 5 rounds chambered with a bolt and pretty much all the other weapons kill in like 3 bullets max, I think bolt actions should 1 tap in the arms but not the legs, to reduce the RNG and make it more viable, and reward the player that aimed well.
@whitby The thing is, you either take out croutch jumping in favor for vaulting, or you add a keybind. Because it makes crouch jumping buggy and even make you rollback sometimes.
Agreed old UI for kits was way better.
The non ads is uncentered and it's intended, and then when you aim it aims where your guy is pointing and centers the screen around that position. I don't really get what you're talking about. It feels fine for me, I play sniper and I do a lot of cqc with it.
@mefirst I'm fine with ADS shooting. The thing is what you call "hip shooting" is actually "point shooting" because the weapon is shouldered and not on the hip. In real life you would be as precise when point shooting as you are when you ADS.
There is absolutely no pattern for the recoil when point shooting, it's fully random and jumps left and right for no reason other than balancing purpose but I think it's pretty bad, it should be way more precise and not have as much horizontal recoil when point shooting. Again I'm perfectly fine with the recoil when aiming down sight, I think Sandstorm has really good gunplay, only point shooting need adjustments to be more reliable.
