Palying on PC or Console?
For console don't know but PC version do have FFB!
And BTW...Why you bought a FFB wheel if you are afraid to hurt it with FFB? FFB effects do stress wheels more than simple auto centering. Maybe you could disable FFB in any game to keep your wheel alive forever?
But nevertheless, can't you disable self centering in wheel controller proggie or just uncheck FFB in mudrunner?

@leenuks said in A lot of bugs on the Mudrunner editor:

Lol, Im too crazy with cliffs, fixing them by careful flattening takes time.

I wonder if this is what causes some of the overlay issues Ive been getting.

You're gettin "overlay conflict" message?
Editor only allows one overlay per block. If you have more, it's cutting out the others!

This issue allready existed in old editor. It still don't like too steep slopes!
Thus, preview and editing mode are not the same.
Only way to prevent it, is to keep slopes smooth and if you want "vertical terrain", create it with objects (rocks) 😉

Same issue with my G29 and even worse with an additional gamepad attached. (in that case i get stuck in the main menu and have to exit with task manager). No problem at my side with the wheel and all my other games (AMS, AC, rF2, PC, GTR2, R3E, LFS, ETS2, ATS, CityCarDriver and some arcade racers more).
The reason for me to refund the game and if it won't be fixed soon, i'll forget MR, like i forgot ST. 😉

Any chance of removing those childish button hints at the bottom? Those were making me crazy! 😞

You mean, you have placed the "locator" log_kiosk and it didn't work?
If it's like in old SpinTires Editor, you have to place the kiosk "object". It includes the functionality of "producing" logs 😉

Problem is, that there's no real simulation of the engine/transmission and the scripting of the behaviour is a bit strange 😉
