I’ve first played something similar to this in Resident Evil 6’s “Agent hunt”. Where you invade a player’s campaign as a zombie. It was so fun and hilarious at times. I’ve heard that Dying Light and left for dead had similar game modes, I’ve just never happened to play those games. But that would be an amazing feature for this game too.
The issue with filling bots in PVP is that it would require much more work and effort in bot design and functionality. Ever notice that bots will just literally follow you around in PVE like brainless minions? And that when you actually die, the game will end in defeat even if your bots are still standing and alive? That’s because the bots simply do not know what to do without an actual player and are not designed to accomplish an objective. Now try adding the bots in PVP which almost all of the modes require an actual objective and strategic approach. They would not know what, where to go, and it won’t work. It’s simply not in their programming. The developers would have to completely rework the coding and functioning of the Ai. That would require much more time, effort, and money. I actually made a similar post about auto filling bots in PVP recently, but I deleted it after I realized the actual limitations the bots already have. But I do like your idea though, especially as the game starts to age and lose players over time.
Several friends and I already maxed out all classes and max level as well as unlocked all weapons and perks. I’ve also got all achievements unlocked except the dispenser one which I think is bugged. It’s also worth mentioning that I have a full time job too.
The max level for PVE is 175. The maximum level for maxing out all classes for both PVE and PVP is 295. I’ve already reached 295 and now I’m just trying to unlock the remaining achievements. But yeah I completely agree that the max level cap should be removed and set to infinite. It’ll increase replay ability by so much and will give many people a reason to keep coming back. It’ll keep me motivated to keep playing and feel like I’m accomplishing something. Many games either have a level prestige system or an infinite level cap. The developers are already aware that some players have requested this. I’m hoping that they do this in a future patch/update.
I think that in some parts of the world, especially Asian countries, the term “zombie” doesn’t exist their languages. I’ve actually read that the term “zombie” originated from Africa. It was through the practices of tribal witch doctors that this term came to be. The witch doctors were believed to have used their medicine and Voodoo practices to “revive from the dead”. While there is no actual proof of such resurrection’s, there have been many reports across Africa of locals witnessing their deceased friends or family standing back up and walking around in a trance like state after a witch doctor visited the body of said deceased. It’s actually crazy how far we have gone in altering the original definition of a zombie compared to its actual origin meaning. From a tranced like, non violent, sleep walking person(African origins) to a rotting, decaying, cannibalistic, mindless, back from the dead, human. You should actually research this topic. It caught me by surprise, and was definitely worth the read and watched some of the documentaries of Voodoo witch doctors. Those people look and act terrifying! Check it out sometime you won’t regret it.
@lecqrew673 yeah it gets frustrating when I play with randoms who are low class levels on insane. It’s almost always a guaranteed defeat. I’ve been rocking medic class too for insane difficulty. I think I’ll swap it up to fixer class so I can get the masking grenades and the perk that lets you stand up if your entire team goes down. Thanks, and wish me luck!
So I’ve been stuck on this mission for two days now. Even with all six classes maxed out and top tier suppressed weapons. I’ve soloed all of the New York missions and the first Jerusalem mission(Brain Surgery). But even with a full team on matchmaking, it feels literally impossible to beat this one. The first part where you defend is extremely difficult, but I always fail at the end where you have to collect 10 car parts for Dr. GreenGold. With the Doctor constantly going down and zombies spawning every direction every few seconds, it easily gets overwhelming. The closest I’ve got so far was 5/10 car parts before defeat. Anyone who has beaten this mission on insane difficulty, I would love some advice. Any particular class or strategy I should be using? I’ve already put about eight hours over two days on this mission but still can’t beat it, lol. In the meantime I think I’ll check YouTube for tips.
