They should read the post from the Diablo 2 ex dev. Not engaging with the community is bad business. It blows my mind that a smaller team isn't taking all the feed back they can. There is absolutely no reason to keep the text on screen the whole game. I stopped playing it looks so bad.
@iyagovos This is a simple request. I will never support them again. It absolutely kills immersion. The item markers can stay but the on screen objective text needs to go. A simple on / off button should be easy to code. I am sure it exists on PC already.
@iyagovos I also can't stand that the hud it ruins the environment / art. It also ruins the ability for screen shots. I could be plastering them all over social media aka free marketing. Photo modes are also huge to get people sharing the art on social media. All games should have a dynamic hud or in game on / off button press for hud.
I love the game so far but I am not playing it much in hopes for a quick patch. On / off button press is probably the easiest fix since a dynamic hud wasn't developed at the start.
Please don't bury the on / off option in the menu because sometimes you might need the hud.
The game is beautiful with hud off but doesn't work well. The hud kills immersion / atmosphere when exploring. Turning hud on every time you need to fight or see the objective is a waste of time. I really wish there was a dynamic hud that only turns on when your in combat or using vamp senses. I usually take lots of screen shots and share them on social media aka free marketing but I dont with this game because of hud. If for some reason dynamic hud is hard to implement just give us a in game button press on / off. Double clicking any button would work. It surprises me that any game still uses traditional hud Deadspace figured this out years ago. Most new games have dynamic huds and even photo modes.
