Why is there no rejoin game button with the party system? It's pretty annoying to have everyone in party to leave game and find another when someone crashes. Which seems to happen a lot.
I really think its sad when browser based game selection is swapped to click to play, and the system shoots you in the leg. Obviously this wouldn't be a problem when using the browser with community servers, but I really haven't seen a EU push server that had more than 3 players so far.
I think the main thing here is nobody knows they can blow the cache by interacting with it.
Once the tutorial has been released we should hopefully see less people bothering to use their explosives on a safe objective.
Why would you waste time rigging it if you have explosives left, when after blowing it up you can resupply from the crate?
You can always find explosives from the dead, and you have the change to resupply if you have managed to expend all the shit dropped by others. Its just too easy now.
It was fine before sandstorm and nothing has changed.
Only one who should be able to rig it to explode should be demolitions class. Its annoying when you are aiming rpg at the cache and everyone just rush in for easy points to rig it.
2 frags or one heavy explosive / incendiary was far better system than this running competition.
In push there could just be more objectives to capture than 3. Use the large maps to extend the gameplay, not to extend the running competition.
Also imagination would be nice to see in map and scenario design:
Spawn to A:
Short distance, over a hill on foot. Capture A ->
A to B:
Longer distance, vehicles spawn here to allow faster deployment. Cap B ->
B to C medium distance, different terrain.
C to D, narrow alleys, terrain only manageable by foot.
Now the maps are just numb towns with streets and buildings after another. Even after the alpha the only map i can tell by the name is crossing, mostly cause of the push A.
The problem is that people have the option to either go straight from the spawn to do "special" missions or for the actual objective, and as the objective sounds hard, people take the other route and start their own war in means of waiting on the outskirts for someone to walk in their sights.
There should be serious consideration to actually limit the area attacking team can move, as there are places there is no reason for players to go, while completing the mission.
It's not the game's fault people dont give a shit, the same problem was with ins, the only difference is that one guy with explosives could clear any objective alone.
In the current state push is closer to rising storm vietnam, than insurgency push. It's really hard to say what its gonna be with community servers and air support toned down / turned off, but now its just a big mess.
There are times and rounds when your team manages to play the objective, but there are just too many corners, notches and windows to sit and wait, it takes the fast pace out of most of the maps.
I have to agree that push is not fun at all now.
Maps are too complex, the objectives are too far apart with too many hideouts in between. Adding more players would probably only make it worse in terms of chaos.
Everyone in your team goes their own way, and it's a miracle if you end up in the objective with 2 or more teammates. Attacking atleast.
Part of the problem is that maps aren't that known yet, but the learning curve is steap, since you cant pick a map, games are short and the maps are COMPLEX.
I sure hope you guys know what you are doing there NWI. I've played like 1400h of push in the original, but this just ain't fun.
