Something I'd like to see and it would really only be icing for the cake, would be a hood, bumper or roof camera. Not necessarily all 3 but one of them maybe. I find times wishin I had a fixed hood or roof cam. Bumper wouldn't really be practical but I thought I'd throw it out there. Otherwise loving it, especially now on pc.
I would also like to extend a big thanks to the devs, as well as the modding community. I got it on console, built a pc 9 months later, I love the game in both forms, but I gotta admit, it's almost a whole different game with mods. Thank to everyone for hours of enjoyment!
Pretty excited to play some new content, almost got my pc built, then it'll be mod heaven, but till then, this'll do nicely. Thanks guys.
I'm still gonna play on console for now but my plans are set for a gaming pc. I'm just gonna put one together myself that's a good starting point for future upgrades, but trying to keep it reasonably priced, which I'd rather sink money into a pc that's upgradeable vs a console that gets replaced 500 a pop or so every few years, I have xb1 brick, and an s, both are great for just jumping on a game and playing, but for this game in particular it falls seriously short, in replay value on console due to mods. In short my goal is to build a setup on mostly refurb parts, and a lil diy, except for mobo and cpu, for less than a new one x so less than 600 give or take, preferably under 500 but that's stretching it, with what min features I'd like to start with. I used to pc game as a teenager, then as an adult moved more to consoles for ease of use, but now that I'm older, more settled and have to share tv time with wife and kids, I need a new screen to compensate lol that and mods lol.
@tattoo I'm lookin to build my own. Im personally really leaning to a Ryzen3 1200 or 1300x, just because performance to price is good, and a rx560 4gb, maybe 1050ti 4gb but at around 200 its a bit steep on my range of budget, but it would be worth it too, as far as the other things ram, case, psu I'm going el cheapo, but not bottom barrel, I'm not gonna be buying all at once so, it's not gonna hurt so much lol deals are my friend lol, thanks for the reference!
Which is pretty much why I'm deciding to jump on the pc bandwagon. I can build an upgradeable system, for relatively little that will play this game, I'm not shooting for 4k, maybe 1080 max but I've worked around 325 to 450 for a good upgradeable starting point. 325 I'm lookin at a g4400 processor with 8 gb ram and a gt 1030, at 450 ryzen 3 1200 with 8gb ram a rx 560 4gb. I'm still new at this but I think that's a good place to start on either side intel or amd.
Can you guys make up your minds? Are you or aren't you at some point going to implement mods to console? One thread says, not right now give it time. This one flat out says nope not gonna happen. I'm no expert, but alienating a customer base simply because it's a little harder to do is bad business practice. As a welde/fabricator I don't turn people away just because the job gets tough or not make as much on a job to be competitve that's not how you keep customers, but rather push them away. And by no means am I saying the base game sucks, but I have beat the game in single player in a matter of days, I only have 3 achievements left, and only the online ones which will take no time. After I 1 star the 3 remaining maps I have left, I guess I just go start testing what n the vehicles can and can't really do, and try to make some fun and games about it but that only goes so far, and paywalling dlc for consoles would just take the proverbial cake, which I really hope isn't the case, but for the love of the game I'll probably buy it, it fills that niche that other games just dont. Please don't take this as condescending or as another rant, or me telling you how to do your job, but honestly genuine concern for a franchise I'd like to continue for many years to come and a game I want to stay fresh and new for good years of fun and enjoyment. I appreciate it coming to console in fact, I've wanted to play this game since the original came out on pc but seeing pc guys with all the mod trucks and maps make my fingers itch for that kinda gameplay. I just think clarity and being open about the future would ease tension from the console community. Thanks and best regards.
