I think its simply they didn't make necron bomber and assault craft texture or whatever
But i don't understand why just use doom scythe(fighter) texture as night scythe(assault craft) one.
Maybe bomber and assault craft with starpulse is too strong? 'bombs away and removing enemy fighter just push one butten' combo is seems quite OP.
uhhh....new necron titan's 'defensive particle whip' is quite overpowered and not enough feeling as superweapon. what about this weapon use as skill? like a cutting beam on demiurge ships, and nova cannon on imperial ships.
for example, 2000~18000 radius, shooting any direction, blast 5 second and 150~250 damage per second, 60second cooltime.
yeah ver1.0 necrons was too strong. all of vanilla necron's matter is not a firepower, just hull cauterization and reactive hull is too sucks.
this mod buffed with but hull cauterization and reactive hull, just feels okay with fire rate fix.(lightning arc fire fast and weaker, particle whip fire slow but stronger)
and what about assault craft balance? just 5 minute ago my flagship boarded 97 stacks because assault craft. im okay with it, but normal boarding is not changed, so it feels unfair.
necrons have very few ship variants. light cruiser gain more variant, but need more variants for larger size ships
like scythe cruiser with 5 gauss particle whip
and necrons have no ordinance. no torpedos, no bomber and assault craft. only few interceptor and star pulse for ordinance-counter purpose. and it's easily feels boring and underpowered. necron fleet's primary firepower is enough as their ship class, but not enough as their point value. and no ordinance? of course, necrons have star pulse and Inertialess Drive, but that's too simple to use, hard to escape, and not enough firepower.
what about kinda supercarrier for necrons? they have no cargo capacity except 'emergency doom scythe' but use some gigantic portal for connect their tomb world's cargo between battlefield.
some day i watching miniature game necrons fleet's stats. and compared with PC game stats.
hmmmm? escort ships are same, but line ships are halved?
i try find more. as a result, most of weapons in battlefleet gothic armada 2, their DPS are highly related to miniature game's firepower. mostly, its 1:1.
i didn't find all but found little exception. heavy bombardment cannon, maga kannon, and eldar weaponry.
soooo, the conclusion is most single lightning arc and gauss particle whip's DPS is 2, but escort's weapons per DPS is 1. actually no problem.
