I agree on the HP and AP ammo. Its interesting way to give more depth to the game. That being said, In the old game, If you didint have AP ammo in your gun, you would lose firefights against armored targed most of the time, thus making AP ammo must pick.
So if the devs were to bring the ammo types back, they need to findout how to balance it first.
Base Idea sounds interesting, but I think guns with stock are easier to aim (since when you shoulder it, the sights are already almost alinged) so their ADS is realistically faster than guns without stock. TBH I dont think there is any advantages of having no stock, except it being lighter and smaler.
Some scopes have these, could we use them in close range with a toggle able key between the two sights?
In some bigger maps, it is great to have one of the longer range scope to counter some of those snipers, but when there is nothing else to do than going to the capture point, the scope makes things awkward.
It would be great if we could use these Backup / Close range sights for clearing rooms, holding the objective and any other close range combat that may occur during the game. They are already there, why not use them?
Can we have long barrel + muzzle device installed on the gun at the same time?
Some times I have 2 extra points to put on something, and I would like to use them on barrel of my gun, but I cant have Long Barrel and any other muzzle device on the gun at same time. I don't think it would break any game balance to do that.
